There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God isi> faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear iti>.
who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver usi>;
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, eveni> by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
For if i make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?
To the one we arei> the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who isi> sufficient for these things?
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to givei> the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing isi> God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
And all things arei> of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
For he hath made him to bei> sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
And herein i give myi> advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
And not thati> only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration ofi> your ready mind:
Now i Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence ami> base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called mei> by his grace,
But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhati> in conference added nothing to me:
And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should goi> unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
i am crucified with Christ: nevertheless i live; yet not i, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which i now live in the flesh i live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
But he who wasi> of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman wasi> by promise.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all meni>, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Blessed bei> the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly placesi> in Christ:
And what isi> the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Wherefore remember, that ye beingi> in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between usi>;
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that i should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
And to make all meni> see what isi> the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Whose end isi> destruction, whose God is theiri> belly, and whosei> glory isi> in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated usi> into the kingdom of his dear Son:
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all thingsi> he might have the preeminence.
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with himi> through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
When Christ, who isi> our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who isi> a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is onei> of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are donei> here.
And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are myi> fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
Epaphras, who is onei> of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will leti>, until he be taken out of the way.
And i thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but i obtained mercy, because i did iti> ignorantly in unbelief.
i give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and beforei> Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
Which in his times he shall shew, who isi> the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom bei> honour and power everlasting. Amen.
who hath saved us, and called usi> with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of thisi> life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
And thati> they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
i charge theei> therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away theiri> ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. read more But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For i am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. i have fought a good fight, i have finished myi> course, i have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. And Tychicus have i sent to Ephesus. The cloke that i left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with theei>, and the books, buti> especially the parchments. Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words. At my first answer no man stood with me, but all meni> forsook me: i pray Godi> that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and thati> all the Gentiles might hear: and i was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve mei> unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom bei> glory for ever and ever. Amen. Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus. Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have i left at Miletum sick. Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren. The Lord Jesus Christ bei> with thy spirit. Grace bei> with you. Amen. show less
who being the brightness of hisi> glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, eveni> those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
