• Death

And thou shalt go to thy fathers in Peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

And the man wondering at her held his Peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.

As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of Peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.

And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of Peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of Peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the Peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the Peace offerings.

And this is the law of the sacrifice of Peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.

Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his Peace offerings.

And of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest's that sprinkleth the blood of the Peace offerings.

And the flesh of the sacrifice of his Peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.

And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his Peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.

But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of Peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of Peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his Peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his Peace offerings.

And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your Peace offerings.

He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the Peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.

And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the Peace offerings.

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee Peace.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliab the son of Helon.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Elizur the son of Shedeur.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Elishama the son of Ammihud.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Abidan the son of Gideoni.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

And for a sacrifice of Peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Pagiel the son of Ocran.

And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the Peace offerings were twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.

Thou shalt not seek their Peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.

And thou shalt offer Peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.

As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed Peace offerings.

And Joshua made Peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.

That we have built us an altar to turn from following the LORD, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or if to offer Peace offerings thereon, let the LORD himself require it;

But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our Peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD.

Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was Peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.

And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.

And he spake also unto the men of Penuel, saying, When I come again in Peace, I will break down this tower.

Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in Peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD'S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.

And the priest said unto them, Go in Peace: before the LORD is your way wherein ye go.

And they said unto him, Hold thy Peace, lay thine hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel?

And the old man said, Peace be with thee; howsoever let all thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street.

Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until even, and offered burnt offerings and Peace offerings before the LORD.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and Peace offerings.

So David received of her hand that which she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in Peace to thine house; see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person.

Wherefore now return, and go in Peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.

And Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel unto my lord the king, that they may make a league with thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thine heart desireth. And David sent Abner away; and he went in Peace.

And, behold, the servants of David and Joab came from pursuing a troop, and brought in a great spoil with them: but Abner was not with David in Hebron; for he had sent him away, and he was gone in Peace.

And I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: so all the people shall be in Peace.

And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came again in Peace.

And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in Peace unto his own house.

And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and Peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.

Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in Peace.

Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be Peace for ever from the LORD.

And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered Peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.

For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had Peace on all sides round about him.

And he said, Whether they be come out for Peace, take them alive; or whether they be come out for war, take them alive.

And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in Peace.

And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your Peace.

And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your Peace.

And he said unto him, Go in Peace. So he departed from him a little way.

Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our Peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household.

And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it Peace?

So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it Peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with Peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.

Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it Peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with Peace? turn thee behind me.

And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it Peace, Jehu? And he answered, What Peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

But the people held their Peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if Peace and truth be in my days?

Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in Peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.

Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: Peace, Peace be unto thee, and Peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and Peace offerings before God.

And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the Peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made Peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.

And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and Peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.

Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give Peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.

And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the Peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.

And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering Peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.

And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for Peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.

And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon Peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.

Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in Peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they brought the king word again.

Then sent the king an answer unto Rehum the chancellor, and to Shimshai the scribe, and to the rest of their companions that dwell in Samaria, and unto the rest beyond the river, Peace, and at such a time.

They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all Peace.

Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect Peace, and at such a time.

Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their Peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever.

And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their Peace, and found nothing to answer.

For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at Peace with thee.

And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in Peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.

Should thy lies make men hold their Peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?

Hold your Peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.

For they speak not Peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of Peace.

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is Peace.

And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his Peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.

Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their Peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy Peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their Peace.

And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Peace I leave with you, my Peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in Peace.
