Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them Light; to go by day and night:
And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave Light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and Light the lamps thereof.
And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the Light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:

And they gave him threescore and ten pieces of silver out of the house of Baalberith, wherewith Abimelech hired vain and Light persons, which followed him.

Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for Light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the Light of the candle.

The Light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of Light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
If thy whole body therefore be full of Light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of Light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee Light.
Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the Light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not Light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of Light.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the Light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of life.
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the Light with you. Walk while ye have the Light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
While ye have Light, believe in the Light, that ye may be the children of Light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a Light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a Light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great Light round about me.
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to Light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to Light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the Light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
For God, who commanded the Light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath Light with darkness?
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the Light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to Light through the gospel:
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous Light:
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a Light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
But if we walk in the Light, as he is in the Light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
And the Light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither Light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them Light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
