Greek Commentary for Mark 12:32
Mark alone gives the reply of the scribe to Jesus which is a mere repetition of what Jesus had said about the first and the second commandments with the additional allusion to 1 Samuel 15:22 about love as superior to whole burnt offerings. [source]
Not to be taken with “saidst” (ειπες eipes) as the Revised Version has it following Wycliff. Probably καλως kalōs (well) is exclamatory. “Fine, Teacher. Of a truth (επ αλητειας ep' alētheias) didst thou say.” [source]
All the best texts omit God. [source]
Exclamatory, as one says good! on hearing something which he approves. [source]
Incorrect. The phrase is adverbial; of a truth, in truth, truthfully, and qualifies the succeeding verb, thou hast said. [source]
The A. V. begins a new and explanatory sentence with this word; but it is better with Rev. to translate that, and make the whole sentence continuous: Thou hast truthfully said that he is one. [source]

Admitting the fact. Thou art right. Compare Mark 12:32. Some take it as ironical. [source]
Perhaps ironical, though Paul may simply admit the statement (cf. Mark 12:32) and show the Gentile his real situation. [source]
Common after ουκ αλλο ouk allo as a preposition with the ablative (Mark 12:32), but here a conjunction as in Philemon 1:18. [source]
