[19] Many  are the afflictions  of the righteous:  but the LORD  delivereth  [20] He keepeth  all his bones:  not one  of them  is broken.  [21] Evil  shall slay  the wicked:  and they that hate  the righteous  shall be desolate. 

What does Psalms 34:19-21 Mean?

Contextual Meaning

The Lord also delivers the righteous out of his troubles. Keeping his bones from breaking ( Psalm 34:20) expresses complete protection in spite of cruel opposition. The Apostle John used this verse in John 19:36 to describe God"s care of His Son during His crucifixion.
