[3] Set  a watch,  O LORD,  before my mouth;  keep  the door  of my lips.  [4] Incline  not my heart  to any evil  thing,  to practise  wicked  works  that work  iniquity:  and let me not eat  of their dainties. 

What does Psalms 141:3-4 Mean?

Contextual Meaning

David asked God to help him control his speech ( Psalm 141:3). He also wanted the Lord to help him control his thoughts and actions ( Psalm 141:4). "Eating the delicacies" of the wicked pictures enjoying the sensual pleasures of ungodly people.
