[1] Praise  ye the LORD.  Praise  ye the name  of the LORD;  praise  him, O ye servants  of the LORD.  [2] Ye that stand  in the house  of the LORD,  in the courts  of the house  of our God,  [3] Praise  the LORD;  for the LORD  is good:  sing praises  unto his name;  for it is pleasant. 

What does Psalms 135:1-3 Mean?

Contextual Meaning

This psalm begins and ends with, "Praise the Lord" (Hallelujah; cf. Psalm 104:35; Psalm 113:1; et al.). The call goes out in Psalm 135:3 again. The priests in particular should praise Him because He is good and because praise is pleasant (lovely).
