What does Colossians 4:3-4 Mean?

Contextual Meaning

Paul requested his readers" intercession for two matters in particular. He asked them to pray that God would give him and his companions opportunities for evangelism and edification. He also asked that when these came he would be able to present the gospel clearly. [1] "The mystery of Christ" ( Colossians 4:3; Colossians 1:26-27) is the gospel. Paul had greater concern about getting the gospel out than he had with getting himself out of prison.
