And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. read more He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
