The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the gray head.

And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest. Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him. And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king. Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.
