[8] O taste  and see  that the LORD  is good:  blessed  is the man  that trusteth  in him. [9] O fear  the LORD,  ye his saints:  for there is no want  to them that fear  [10] The young lions  do lack,  and suffer hunger:  but they that seek  the LORD  shall not want  any good 

What does Psalms 34:8-10 Mean?

Contextual Meaning

David called on the people to experience the Lord"s goodness personally by relying on Him in their times of distress. He assured them that if they did, He would not disappoint them.
"David gave a threefold witness of what the Lord does for His own: He saves ( Psalm 34:4-8), He keeps ( Psalm 34:7), and He satisfies ( Psalm 34:8)." [1]
Young, self-reliant lions occasionally cannot provide for their own needs adequately, but people who trust in the Lord never suffer such a fate (cf. Matthew 6:33).
