[1] Take heed that ye do not before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of Father which is in heaven. [2] Therefore when thou doest thine alms, not sound a trumpet before as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say They have their reward. [3] But doest alms, not left hand know what right hand doeth: [4] That alms in secret: and Father which seeth in secret shall reward openly. [5] And when thou prayest, not the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that be seen of men. Verily I say They have their reward. [6] But thou, when thou prayest, enter into closet, and when thou hast shut door, pray Father which is in secret; and Father which seeth in secret shall reward openly. [7] But when ye pray, not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. [8] not therefore like unto them: for Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ask him. [9] After this manner therefore pray Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be name. [10] kingdom come. will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. [11] Give this day daily bread. [12] And forgive debts, as forgive debtors. [13] And lead not into temptation, but deliver from evil: For the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. [14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, heavenly Father will also forgive [15] But ye forgive men their trespasses, neither Father forgive trespasses.
