[25] At  that  time  Jesus  answered  and said,  I thank  O Father,  Lord  of heaven  and  earth,  because  from  the wise  and  prudent,  and  hast revealed  them  unto babes.  [26] Even so,  Father:  for  so  it seemed  good  sight.  [27] All things  are delivered  of  Father:  and  no man  knoweth  the Son,  the Father;  neither  knoweth  any man  the Father,  the Son,  and he  to  whomsoever  the Son  will  reveal  [28] Come  unto  all  ye that labour  and  are heavy laden,  and I  rest.  [29] Take  yoke  upon  and  learn  of  for  I am  and  lowly  in heart:  and  ye shall find  rest  souls.  [30] For  yoke  is easy,  and  burden  light. 

What does Matthew 11:25-30 Mean?

Contextual Meaning

This invitation is a sign of Israel"s rejection of her King since with it Jesus invited those who had believed in Him to separate from unbelieving Israel and to follow Him. In Matthew 11:20-24 Jesus addressed the condemned, but in Matthew 11:25-30 He spoke to the accepted. This section is a Christological high point in the Gospel.
