Mark 9:30-32

Mark 9:30-32

[30] And  they departed  and passed  through  Galilee;  and  he would  not  that  any man  should know  [31] For  he taught  his  disciples,  and  unto them,  The Son  of man  is delivered  into  the hands  of men,  and  they shall kill  him;  and  after that he is killed,  he shall rise  day.  [32] But  they understood not  that saying,  and  were afraid  to ask  him.

What does Mark 9:30-32 Mean?

Contextual Meaning

Jesus and the disciples probably left the region of Caesarea Philippi and Mt. Hermon, or wherever they were now, and proceeded farther south toward Jerusalem through Galilee. In view of what lay ahead in Jerusalem, Jesus again prepared them by telling them that He would suffer execution and experience resurrection.
