[9] And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day the sabbath. [10] The Jews therefore unto him that was cured, the sabbath day: not lawful to carry thy bed. [11] He answered them, He that made whole, the same said Take up bed, and walk. [12] Then asked they him, What man that which said Take up and walk? [13] And he that was healed wist not who for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude in that place. [14] Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, thou art made whole: sin no more, a worse thing come [15] The man departed, and told the Jews that Jesus, which had made him whole. [16] And therefore the Jews persecute Jesus, and because he had done on the sabbath day. [17] But Jesus answered them, Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
