[12] And now, Israel,  thy God  require  of thee, but to fear  thy God,  in all his ways,  and to love  him, and to serve  thy God  with all thy heart  and with all thy soul,  [13] To keep  the commandments  of the LORD,  and his statutes,  which I command  thee this day  for thy good? 

What does Deuteronomy 10:12-13 Mean?

Contextual Meaning

In view of His past grace to His people, what did God require of them? Moses summarized Israel"s responsibility: fear, walk, love, serve, and keep. God expected total allegiance to Himself and obedience to His covenant.
