Romans 15:8
Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: |
For he is the minister of god to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of god, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of god, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the god of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
For the LORD thy god hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD, him and his sons for ever.
Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his god, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the LORD.
And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy god hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried:
Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of god but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of god, and to minister unto him for ever.
And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD god of Israel:
So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of god.
And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of god commanded.
But as for us, the LORD is our god, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites wait upon their business:
Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our god, unto the priests that minister in the house of our god:
For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our god.
And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord god, a young bullock for a sin offering.
But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord god:
And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of god in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.
For he is the minister of god to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of god, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of god, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of god, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? god forbid.
Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of god given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of god which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of god;
And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of god, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
For god is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of god.
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of god; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which god giveth: that god in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
