Psalms 119:160
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. |
Send one of you, and let him fetch your brother, and ye shall be kept in prison, that Your Words may be proved, whether there be any truth in you: or else by the life of Pharaoh surely ye are spies.
And he said, Now also let it be according unto Your Words: he with whom it is found shall be my servant; and ye shall be blameless.
And the LORD heard the voice of Your Words, and was wroth, and sware, saying, Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers, Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD. Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither. read more But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it. Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it. And the LORD heard the voice of Your Words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.

Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth Your Words.
Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to Your Words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you.
Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied Your Words against me: I have heard them.
Ye have wearied the LORD with Your Words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is Your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these Words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring Your brother down?
And he said, Now also let it be according unto Your Words: he with whom it is found shall be my servant; and ye shall be blameless.

These Words the LORD spake unto all Your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of Your tribes, and Your elders; And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die. read more For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it. And the LORD heard the voice of Your Words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the Words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Go say to them, Get you into Your tents again. But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD Your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD Your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong Your days in the land which ye shall possess. show less
And the LORD heard the voice of Your Words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the Words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.
Therefore shall ye lay up these my Words in Your heart and in Your soul, and bind them for a sign upon Your hand, that they may be as frontlets between Your eyes.
Thou shalt not hearken unto the Words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD Your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD Your God with all Your heart and with all Your soul.
Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD Your God, and observe to do all the Words of this law:
Gather unto me all the elders of Your tribes, and Your officers, that I may speak these Words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them.
And he said unto them, Set Your hearts unto all the Words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command Your children to observe to do, all the Words of this law.
And she said, According unto Your Words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.
And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the Words of the LORD Your God.
And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the Words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny Your God.
And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to Your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the Words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against Your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the Words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.
And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD Your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the Words of the law.
I also could speak as ye do: if Your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up Words against you, and shake mine head at you.
Behold, I waited for Your Words; I gave ear to Your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.
Now he hath not directed his Words against me: neither will I answer him with Your speeches.
{Maschil of Asaph.} Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline Your ears to the Words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done. read more For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children: That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God. show less

I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these Words, saying, Bring Your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the Words of Your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let Your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these Words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
