Then The Children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb The son of Jephunneh The Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest The thing that The LORD said unto Moses The man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea. Forty years old was I when Moses The servant of The LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out The land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart. Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made The heart of The people melt: but I wholly followed The LORD my God. And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely The land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy Children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed The LORD my God. read more And now, behold, The LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since The LORD spake this word unto Moses, while The Children of Israel wandered in The wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in The day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in. Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof The LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how The Anakims were there, and that The cities were great and fenced: if so be The LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as The LORD said. And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb The son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance. Hebron therefore became The inheritance of Caleb The son of Jephunneh The Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed The LORD God of Israel. And The name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba; which Arba was a great man among The Anakims. And The land had rest from war. show less

Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth The goddess of The Zidonians, Chemosh The God of The Moabites, and Milcom The God of The Children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.

And The Children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against The LORD their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from The tower of The watchmen to The fenced city. And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree: read more And there they burnt incense in all The high places, as did The heathen whom The LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke The LORD to anger: For they served idols, whereof The LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing. Yet The LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all The prophets, and by all The seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all The law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants The prophets. Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to The neck of their fathers, that did not believe in The LORD their God. And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after The heathen that were round about them, concerning whom The LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them. And they left all The commandments of The LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all The host of heaven, and served Baal. And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through The fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in The sight of The LORD, to provoke him to anger. Therefore The LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but The tribe of Judah only. Also Judah kept not The commandments of The LORD their God, but walked in The statutes of Israel which they made. And The LORD rejected all The seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into The hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight. For he rent Israel from The house of David; and they made Jeroboam The son of Nebat king: and Jeroboam drave Israel from following The LORD, and made them sin a great sin. For The Children of Israel and The Children of Levi shall bring The offering of The corn, of The new wine, and The oil, unto The chambers, where are The vessels of The sanctuary, and The priests that minister, and The porters, and The singers: and we will not forsake The house of our God.
Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: The wives also and The Children rejoiced: so that The joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
Because they met not The Children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: howbeit our God turned The curse into a blessing.
The LORD looked down from heaven upon The Children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore The Children of men put their trust under The shadow of thy wings.
Thou art fairer than The Children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
God looked down from heaven upon The Children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
And The residue of The number of archers, The mighty men of The Children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for The LORD God of Israel hath spoken it.
But when he seeth his Children, The work of mine hands, in The midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify The Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear The God of Israel.
A voice was heard upon The high places, weeping and supplications of The Children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten The LORD their God.
Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest The iniquity of The fathers into The bosom of their Children after them: The Great, The Mighty God, The LORD of hosts, is his name,
In those days, and in that time, saith The LORD, The Children of Israel shall come, they and The Children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek The LORD their God.
And go, get thee to them of The captivity, unto The Children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith The Lord God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
Thus saith The Lord God; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all The idols of thy abominations, and by The blood of thy Children, which thou didst give unto them;
And say unto them, Thus saith The Lord God; Behold, I will take The Children of Israel from among The heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
Thus saith The Lord God; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among The Children of Israel.
But The priests The Levites, The sons of Zadok, that kept The charge of my sanctuary when The Children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me The fat and The blood, saith The Lord God:
Yet The number of The Children of Israel shall be as The sand of The sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in The place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are The sons of The living God.
Afterward shall The Children of Israel return, and seek The LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear The LORD and his goodness in The latter days.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten The law of thy God, I will also forget thy Children.
Be glad then, ye Children of Zion, and rejoice in The LORD your God: for he hath given you The former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you The rain, The former rain, and The latter rain in The first month.
Therefore as I live, saith The LORD of hosts, The God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and The Children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even The breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: The residue of my people shall spoil them, and The remnant of my people shall possess them.
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer The little Children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is The kingdom of God.
And The disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into The kingdom of God!
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little Children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is The kingdom of God.
And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or Children, for The kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in The world to come life everlasting.
Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto The angels; and are The Children of God, being The Children of The resurrection.
And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one The Children of God that were scattered abroad.
Ye are The Children of The prophets, and of The covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all The kindreds of The earth be blessed.

Men and brethren, Children of The stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is The word of this salvation sent.
Because The creature itself also shall be delivered from The bondage of corruption into The glorious liberty of The Children of God.
That is, They which are The Children of The flesh, these are not The Children of God: but The Children of The promise are counted for The seed.
(For The Children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that The purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
And it shall come to pass, that in The place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called The Children of The living God.
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh The wrath of God upon The Children of disobedience.
In this The Children of God are manifest, and The Children of The devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
Ye are of God, little Children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in The world.
By this we know that we love The Children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
