Jeremiah 25:36

And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the Kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.
And now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely be king, and that the Kingdom of Israel shall be established in thine hand.
And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the Kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.
And ye shall be unto me a Kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his Kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.
And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy Kingdom upon Israel for ever.
So Saul took the Kingdom over Israel, and fought against all his enemies on every side, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon, and against Edom, and against the kings of Zobah, and against the Philistines: and whithersoever he turned himself, he vexed them.
And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the Kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.
And now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely be king, and that the Kingdom of Israel shall be established in thine hand.
To translate the Kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to Beersheba.
And the king said, And where is thy master's son? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem: for he said, To day shall the house of Israel restore me the Kingdom of my father.
Then I will establish the throne of thy Kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.
And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the Kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the Kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.
And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the Kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.
These also are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his Kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.
And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his Kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.
And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the Kingdom of the LORD over Israel.
Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the LORD, and an house for his Kingdom.
Then will I stablish the throne of thy Kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.
And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the Kingdom again to Rehoboam.
And it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the Kingdom, and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel with him.
Ought ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the Kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?
Now when Jehoram was risen up to the Kingdom of his father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with the sword, and divers also of the princes of Israel.
The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the Kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.
And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the Kingdom of the house of Israel.
That ye may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
