Now when John had heard in the prison the works Of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

Saying, What think ye Of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection Of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body Of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit Of Christ, he is none of his.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles Of Christ.

Are they ministers Of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

Esteeming the reproach Of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit Of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings Of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers Of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

If ye be reproached for the name Of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine Of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine Of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and Of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
