Helbah
(hehl' buh) Place name meaning “forest.” City in tribal territory of Asher which Asher could not drive out (Judges 1:31 ). Some have seen this as an inadvertant copying of Ahlab. Most identify Helbah with Mahalib, mentioned in Assyrian monuments. It is four miles northeast of Tyre. See Mahalab .
