Ginnetho
(gihn' nih thoh) KJV spelling in Nehemiah 12:4 of Levite who returned from Babylonian captivity with Zerubbabel about 537 B.C. Hebrew texts have various spellings followed by modern translations: Ginnethon (NIV; REB); Ginnethoi (NAS, TEV, NRSV). This is apparently the same person listed as head of a clan of priests in Nehemiah 12:16 . Probably the person who signed Nehemiah's covenant (Nehemiah 10:6 ) belonged to the same family.
