Literal: A sound of battle [is] in the land and of destruction great
KJV: A sound  of battle  is in the land,  and of great  destruction.

Literal: The bow and the lance they shall hold cruel they [are] and not shall show mercy their voice like the sea shall roar and on horses they shall ride Set in array like a man for the battle Against you daughter of Babylon
KJV: They shall hold  the bow  and the lance:  they are cruel,  and will not shew mercy:  their voice  shall roar  like the sea,  and they shall ride  upon horses,  every one put in array,  like a man  to the battle,  against thee, O daughter  of Babylon. 

Jeremiah 51:20
Literal: Battle-ax You [are] My [and] weapons of war for I will break in pieces with you the nation and I will destroy kingdoms
KJV: Thou art my battle axe  and weapons  of war:  for with thee will I break in pieces  the nations,  and with thee will I destroy  kingdoms;

Literal: and the passages are blocked and the reeds they have burned with fire and men of the war are terrified -
KJV: And that the passages  are stopped,  and the reeds  they have burned  with fire,  of war  are affrighted. 

Jeremiah 52:7
Literal: And was broken through the city [wall] and all men of the war fled and went out of the city at night by way of the gate between the two walls that [was] by garden of the king and even though the Chaldeans [were] near the city all around and they went of the plain
KJV: Then the city  was broken up,  of war  fled,  and went forth  out of the city  by night  by the way  of the gate  between the two walls,  which was by the king's  garden;  (now the Chaldeans  were by the city  round about:)  by the way  of the plain. 

Jeremiah 52:25
Literal: And out of the city He took officer an who had charge of men of the war and seven men of close associates person of the king who were found in the city and the scribe of principal the army who mustered - the people of the land and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the midst of the city
KJV: He took  also out of the city  an  eunuch,  which had the charge  of the men  of war;  and seven  men  of them that were near  the king's  person,  which were found  in the city;  and the principal  scribe  of the host,  who mustered  the people  of the land;  and threescore  men  of the people  of the land,  that were found  in the midst  of the city. 

Ezekiel 7:14
Literal: They have blown the trumpet and made ready everyone but no one goes to battle for My wrath [is] on all their multitude
KJV: They have blown  the trumpet,  even to make all ready;  but none goeth  to the battle:  for my wrath  is upon all the multitude 

Ezekiel 13:5
Literal: Not You have gone up into the gaps and to build a wall for the house of Israel to stand in battle on the day of Yahweh
KJV: Ye have not gone up  into the gaps,  neither made up  the hedge  for the house  of Israel  to stand  in the battle  in the day  of the LORD.

Literal: And nor with [his] army mighty and company great will do anything - Pharaoh in the war when they heap up a siege mound and build a wall to cut off persons many
KJV: Neither shall Pharaoh  with his mighty  army  and great  company  make  for him in the war,  by casting up  mounts,  and building  forts,  to cut off  many  persons:

Literal: Those from Persia and Lydia and Libya Were in your army as men of war Shield and helmet they hung in you they gave splendor to you
KJV: They of Persia  and of Lud  and of Phut  were in thine army,  of war:  they hanged  the shield  and helmet  in thee; they set forth  thy comeliness. 

Ezekiel 27:27
Literal: Your riches and wares and merchandise Your mariners and pilots - Your caulkers and merchandisers and all men of your war who [are] in you and entire the company which [is] in your midst will fall into the midst of the seas on the day of your ruin
KJV: Thy riches,  and thy fairs,  thy merchandise,  thy mariners,  and thy pilots,  thy calkers,  and the occupiers  of thy merchandise,  of war,  that are in thee, and in all thy company  which is in the midst  of thee, shall fall  into the midst  of the seas  in the day  of thy ruin. 

Ezekiel 32:27
Literal: And not they do lie with the mighty [Who] [are] fallen of the uncircumcised who have gone down to hell with weapons of their war and they have laid - their swords under their heads but will be their iniquities on their bones because of the terror of the mighty in the land of the living
KJV: And they shall not lie  with the mighty  that are fallen  of the uncircumcised,  which are gone down  to hell  with their weapons  of war:  and they have laid  their swords  under their heads,  but their iniquities  shall be upon their bones,  though they were the terror  of the mighty  in the land  of the living. 

Ezekiel 39:20
Literal: And You shall be filled at My table with horses and riders with mighty men and with all the men of war says the Lord GOD
KJV: Thus ye shall be filled  at my table  with horses  and chariots,  with mighty men,  and with all men  of war,  saith  the Lord  GOD. 

Daniel 9:26
Literal: And after the weeks sixty and two shall be cut off Messiah but not for Himself and the city and the sanctuary shall destroy the people of the prince who is to come and the end of it [shall be] with a flood and till the end of the war are determined desolations
KJV: And after  threescore  and two  weeks  shall Messiah  be cut off,  but not for himself: and the people  of the prince  that shall come  shall destroy  the city  and the sanctuary;  and the end  thereof shall be with a flood,  and unto the end  of the war  desolations  are determined. 

Daniel 11:20
Literal: And there shall arise in his place one who imposes taxes glorious [on] the kingdom but within days some he shall be destroyed but not in anger or in battle
KJV: Then shall stand up  in his estate  a raiser  of taxes  in the glory  of the kingdom:  but within few  days  he shall be destroyed,  neither in anger,  nor in battle. 

Daniel 11:25
Literal: And He shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with army a great and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with army a great and mighty with a very very but not he shall stand for they shall devise against him plans
KJV: And he shall stir up  his power  and his courage  against the king  of the south  with a great  army;  and the king  of the south  shall be stirred up  to battle  with a very  great  and mighty  army;  but he shall not stand:  for they shall forecast  devices

Literal: And yet on the house of Judah I will have mercy and will save them by Yahweh their God and not will save them by bow nor by sword or battle by horses or horsemen
KJV: But I will have mercy  upon the house  of Judah,  and will save  them by the LORD  their God,  and will not save  them by bow,  nor by sword,  nor by battle,  by horses,  nor by horsemen. 

Hosea 2:18
Literal: And I will make for them a covenant in day that with the beasts of the field and with the birds of the air and [with] the creeping things of the ground And Bow and sword and battle I will shatter from the earth and to make them lie down safely

Literal: Therefore shall arise tumult among your people and all your fortresses shall be plundered as plundered Shalman in Beth Arbel in the day of battle a mother upon [her] children dashed in pieces
KJV: Therefore shall a tumult  arise  among thy people,  and all thy fortresses  shall be spoiled,  as Shalman  spoiled  Betharbel  in the day  of battle:  the mother  was dashed in pieces  upon her children. 

Joel 2:5
Literal: With a noise like chariots Over the tops mountaintops they leap Like the noise of a fire flaming that devours the stubble Like a people strong set in array battle
KJV: Like the noise  of chariots  on the tops  of mountains  shall they leap,  like the noise  of a flame  of fire  that devoureth  the stubble,  as a strong  people  set in battle  array.

Micah 2:8
Literal: and Lately My people as an enemy have risen up with the garment the magnificence You pull off from as they pass by those who trust [you] Like men returned from war
KJV: Even of late  my people  is risen up  as an enemy:  ye pull off  the robe  with  the garment  from them that pass  by securely  as men averse  from war. 

Micah 3:5
Literal: Thus says Yahweh concerning the prophets who make stray - my people while they chew with their teeth and who chant Peace but nothing who puts into their mouths and who prepare against him war
KJV: Thus saith  the LORD  concerning the prophets  that make my people  err,  that bite  with their teeth,  and cry,  Peace;  and he that putteth  not into their mouths,  they even prepare  war 

Micah 4:3
Literal: And He shall judge between peoples many and rebuke nations strong even to afar off and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks not shall lift up Nation against nation sword and neither shall they learn any more war

Zechariah 9:10
Literal: And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem and shall be cut off the bow battle and He shall speak peace to the nations and His dominion [shall be] from sea to sea and from the River the ends of the earth

Zechariah 10:4
Literal: From him the cornerstone the [tent] peg the bow battle comes every ruler together

Zechariah 10:5
Literal: And they shall be like mighty men who tread down [their enemies] in the mire of the streets in the battle and they shall fight because Yahweh is with them and shall be put to shame the riders on horses

Zechariah 14:2
Literal: For I will gather - all the nations against Jerusalem to battle and shall be taken the city and rifled the houses and the women - ravished and shall go Half of the city into captivity but the remnant of the people not shall be cut off from the city
KJV: For I will gather  all nations  against Jerusalem  to battle;  and the city  shall be taken,  and the houses  rifled,  and the women  and half  of the city  shall go forth  into captivity,  and the residue  of the people  shall not be cut off  from the city.
