Literal: Has come up the lion from his thicket and the destroyer of nations is on his way He has gone forth from his place to make your land desolate Your cities will be laid waste without inhabitant
KJV: The lion  is come up  from his thicket,  and the destroyer  of the Gentiles  is on his way;  he is gone forth  from his place  to make  thy land  desolate;  and thy cities  shall be laid waste,  without an inhabitant. 

Jeremiah 4:16
Literal: Make mention to the nations Yes proclaim against Jerusalem [That] watchers come from a country far and raise the cities of Judah their voice
KJV: Make ye mention  to the nations;  behold, publish  against Jerusalem,  that watchers  come  from a far  country,  and give out  their voice  against the cities  of Judah.

Literal: Shall for these [things] not I punish [them] says Yahweh and on a nation such as this not shall avenge I Myself -

Literal: Behold I will bring against you a nation from afar house of Israel says Yahweh A nation enduring it [is] nation an ancient not you do know whose language nor can you understand what they say

Jeremiah 6:22
Literal: thus says Yahweh behold a people comes from the country north and a nation great will be raised from the farthest parts of the earth
KJV: Thus saith  the LORD,  Behold, a people  cometh  from the north  country,  and a great  nation  shall be raised  from the sides  of the earth. 

Jeremiah 7:28
Literal: So you shall say to them this [is] a nation that not does obey the voice of Yahweh their God nor receive correction has perished Truth and has been cut off from their mouth -
KJV: But thou shalt say  unto them, This is a nation  that obeyeth  not the voice  of the LORD  their God,  nor receiveth  correction:  truth  is perished,  and is cut off  from their mouth. 

Jeremiah 9:9

Literal: upon Egypt and Judah Edom the sons of Ammon Moab and all [who are] in farthest the corners who dwell in the wilderness for all [these] nations [are] uncircumcised and all the house of Israel [are] uncircumcised in the heart -
KJV: Egypt,  and Judah,  and Edom,  and the children  of Ammon,  and Moab,  and all that are in the utmost  corners,  that dwell  in the wilderness:  for all these nations  are uncircumcised,  and all the house  of Israel  are uncircumcised  in the heart. 

Jeremiah 10:2
Literal: Thus says Yahweh to the way of the Gentiles not do learn and at the signs of heaven do be dismayed for are dismayed the Gentiles at them
KJV: Thus saith  the LORD,  Learn  not the way  of the heathen,  and be not dismayed  at the signs  of heaven;  for the heathen  are dismayed  at them. 

Jeremiah 10:7
Literal: Who not would fear You King of the nations for this is Your rightful due among all the wise [men] of the nations and in all their kingdoms [There is] none like You
KJV: Who would not fear  thee, O King  of nations?  for to thee doth it appertain:  forasmuch as among all the wise  men of the nations,  and in all their kingdoms,  there is none like unto thee.

Jeremiah 10:10
Literal: But Yahweh [is] the God TRUE He [is] the God living and the King Everlasting at His wrath will tremble the earth and not will be able to endure the nations His indignation -
KJV: But the LORD  is the true  God,  he is the living  God,  and an everlasting  king:  at his wrath  the earth  shall tremble,  and the nations  shall not be able to abide  his indignation. 

Jeremiah 10:25
Literal: Pour out Your fury on the Gentiles who not do know You and on the families on Your name not do call for they have eaten up - Jacob and Devoured him and consumed him and his dwelling place made desolate -
KJV: Pour out  thy fury  upon the heathen  that know  thee not, and upon the families  that call  not on thy name:  for they have eaten up  Jacob,  and devoured  him, and consumed  him, and have made his habitation  desolate.

Literal: But if not they do obey and I will pluck up - nation that utterly and destroy says Yahweh -

Literal: Are there any among the idols of the nations that can cause rain Or the heavens can give showers [Are] not You He Yahweh our God therefore we will wait for You Since You made have - all these -
KJV: Are there  any among the vanities  of the Gentiles  that can cause rain?  or can the heavens  give  showers?  art not thou he, O LORD  our God?  therefore we will wait  upon thee: for thou hast made  all these things.

Jeremiah 16:19
Literal: Yahweh my strength and my fortress and My refuge in the day of affliction to You the Gentiles shall come from the ends of the earth and say surely lies have inherited our fathers Worthlessness and in unprofitable [things]
KJV: O LORD,  my strength,  and my fortress,  and my refuge  in the day  of affliction,  the Gentiles  shall come  unto thee from the ends  of the earth,  and shall say,  Surely our fathers  have inherited  lies,  vanity,  and things wherein there is no profit.

Literal: The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom to pluck up and to pull down and to destroy [it]

Jeremiah 22:8
Literal: And will pass nations many by city this and will say everyone to his neighbor why how long has done Yahweh so to city great this
KJV: And many  nations  shall pass  by this city,  and they shall say  every man  to his neighbour,  Wherefore hath the LORD  done  thus unto this great  city? 

Jeremiah 25:9
Literal: behold I will send and take - all the families of the north says Yahweh and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon My servant and will bring them against land this and against its inhabitants and against nations these all around and will utterly destroy them and make them an astonishment and a hissing and desolations perpetual
KJV: Behold, I will send  and take  all the families  of the north,  saith  the LORD,  and Nebuchadrezzar  the king  of Babylon,  my servant,  and will bring  them against this land,  and against the inhabitants  thereof, and against all these nations  round about,  and will utterly destroy  them, and make  them an astonishment,  and an hissing,  and perpetual  desolations.

Literal: And shall be whole land this a desolation [and] an astonishment and shall serve nations these - the king of Babylon seventy years
KJV: And this whole land  shall be a desolation,  and an astonishment;  and these nations  shall serve  the king  of Babylon  seventy  years. 

Jeremiah 25:12
Literal: And it will come to pass when are completed seventy years [that] I will punish upon the king of Babylon and nation that says Yahweh for their iniquity the land of the Chaldeans and I will make it a desolation perpetual
KJV: And it shall come to pass, when seventy  years  are accomplished,  that I will punish  the king  of Babylon,  and that nation,  saith  the LORD,  for their iniquity,  and the land  of the Chaldeans,  and will make  it perpetual  desolations. 

Jeremiah 25:13
Literal: - So I will bring on land that - all My words which I have pronounced against it - that is written in book this has prophesied Jeremiah concerning the nations
KJV: And I will bring  upon that land  all my words  which I have pronounced  against it, even all that is written  in this book,  which Jeremiah  hath prophesied  against all the nations.

Literal: For shall be served by them even them nations many and kings great and I will repay them according to their deeds and according to the works of their own hands -
KJV: For many  nations  and great  kings  shall serve  themselves of them also: and I will recompense  them according to their deeds,  and according to the works  of their own hands.

Literal: For thus says Yahweh God of Israel to me take - cup of wine fury this from My hand and cause to drink it all the nations to whom I send you unto whom
KJV: For thus saith  the LORD  God  of Israel  unto me; Take  the wine  cup  of this fury  at my hand,  and cause all the nations,  to whom I send  thee, to drink 

Jeremiah 25:17
Literal: And I took - the cup from the hand of Yahweh and made drink all the nations to whom had sent me Yahweh unto
KJV: Then took  I the cup  at the LORD'S  hand,  and made all the nations  to drink,  unto whom the LORD  had sent 

Jeremiah 25:31
Literal: Will come a noise to the ends of the earth for a controversy for Yahweh has with the nations will plead His case He with all flesh those [who are] wicked He will give to the sword says Yahweh -
KJV: A noise  shall come  even to the ends  of the earth;  for the LORD  hath a controversy  with the nations,  he will plead  with all flesh;  he will give  them that are wicked  to the sword,  saith  the LORD.

Literal: Thus says Yahweh of hosts behold disaster shall go forth from nation to nation and a whirlwind great shall be raised up from the farthest parts of the earth
KJV: Thus saith  the LORD  of hosts,  Behold, evil  shall go forth  from nation  and a great  whirlwind  shall be raised up  from the coasts  of the earth. 

Jeremiah 26:6
Literal: then I will make - house this like Shiloh and city this this will make a curse to all the nations of the earth -
KJV: Then will I make  this house  like Shiloh,  and will make  this city  a curse  to all the nations  of the earth.

Literal: So shall serve him all nations and his son and son of his son until comes the time of his land even it Then shall make serve them him nations many and kings great

Literal: And it shall be [that] the nation and kingdom which not will serve - - Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon and will put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon with the sword and the famine and the pestilence will I punish that nation that says Yahweh until I have consumed them by his hand
KJV: And it shall come to pass, that the nation  and kingdom  which will not serve  the same Nebuchadnezzar  the king  of Babylon,  and that will not put  their neck  under the yoke  of the king  of Babylon,  that nation  will I punish,  saith  the LORD,  with the sword,  and with the famine,  and with the pestilence,  until I have consumed  them by his hand. 

Jeremiah 27:11
Literal: But the nations that bring - their necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him and I will let them remain in their own land says Yahweh and they shall till it and dwell in it
KJV: But the nations  that bring  their neck  under the yoke  of the king  of Babylon,  and serve  him, those will I let remain still  in their own land,  saith  the LORD;  and they shall till  it, and dwell  therein.

Jeremiah 27:13
Literal: Why will you die you and your people by the sword by the famine and by the pestilence as has spoken Yahweh against the nation that not will serve - the king of Babylon
KJV: Why will ye die,  thou and thy people,  by the sword,  by the famine,  and by the pestilence,  as the LORD  hath spoken  against the nation  that will not serve  the king  of Babylon?

Literal: And spoke Hananiah in the presence of all the people saying thus says Yahweh Even so I will break - the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon within the space of two [full] years From the neck of all nations and went Jeremiah the prophet his way -
KJV: And Hananiah  spake  in the presence  of all the people,  saying,  the LORD;  Even so will I break  the yoke  of Nebuchadnezzar  king  of Babylon  from the neck  of all nations  within the space of two full  years.  And the prophet  Jeremiah  his way.

Literal: For thus says Yahweh of hosts the God of Israel a yoke of iron I have put on the neck of all nations these that they may serve - Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and they shall serve him and also The beasts of the field I have given him
KJV: For thus saith  the LORD  of hosts,  the God  of Israel;  I have put  a yoke  of iron  upon the neck  of all these nations,  that they may serve  Nebuchadnezzar  king  of Babylon;  and they shall serve  him: and I have given  him the beasts  of the field  also.

Jeremiah 29:14
Literal: And I will be found by you says Yahweh and I will bring you back from - - your captivity and I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you there you Yahweh and I will bring you to the place from which I cause to be carried away captive in it
KJV: And I will be found  of you, saith  the LORD:  and I will turn away  your captivity,  and I will gather  you from all the nations,  and from all the places  whither I have driven  you, saith  the LORD;  and I will bring you again  into the place  whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Literal: And I will pursue them with the sword with famine and with pestilence and I will deliver them - to trouble among all the kingdoms of the earth to [be] an oath and an astonishment and a hissing and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them there

Jeremiah 31:10
Literal: Hear the word of Yahweh nations and declare [it] in the isles afar off and say He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him as a shepherd [does] his flock

Jeremiah 31:36
Literal: if depart ordinances these from before Me says Yahweh [Then] also the seed of Israel shall cease from being a nation before Me all forever -
KJV: If those ordinances  depart  from before  me, saith  the LORD,  then the seed  of Israel  also shall cease  from being a nation  before  me for ever. 

Jeremiah 33:9
Literal: And it shall be to Me a name of joy a praise and an honor before all nations of the earth who shall hear - all the good that I do to them and they shall fear and tremble for the goodness and the prosperity I provide for it -

Literal: have not you considered what people this have spoken saying two the families which has chosen Yahweh in and He has cast them off thus My people they have despised as if they should be no more a nation before them -
KJV: Considerest  thou not what this people  have spoken,  saying,  The two  families  which the LORD  hath chosen,  he hath even cast them off?  thus they have despised  my people,  that they should be no more a nation  before  them.

Literal: take to you a scroll of a book and write on it - all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel and against Judah the nations from the day I spoke to you from the days of Josiah and even to day this

Literal: in that you provoke Me to wrath with the works of your hands burning incense to gods other in the land of Egypt where you have gone to dwell there that you may cut off yourselves and be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth
KJV: In that ye provoke me unto wrath  with the works  of your hands,  burning incense  unto other  gods  in the land  of Egypt,  whither ye be gone  to dwell,  that ye might cut yourselves off,  and that ye might be a curse  and a reproach  among all the nations  of the earth?

Literal: Have heard the nations of your shame and your cry has filled the land for the mighty man against the mighty has stumbled together Have fallen the two of them -
KJV: The nations  have heard  of thy shame,  and thy cry  hath filled  the land:  for the mighty man  hath stumbled  against the mighty,  and they are fallen  both  together. 

Jeremiah 46:28
Literal: You do not fear My servant Jacob says Yahweh for with you I [am] for I will make a complete end of all the nations to which I have driven you there but of you not a complete end and I will correct you rightly for wholly not I will leave you unpunished -
KJV: Fear  thou not, O Jacob  my servant,  saith  the LORD:  for I am with thee; for I will make  a full end  of all the nations  whither I have driven  thee: but I will not make  a full end  of thee, but correct  thee in measure;  yet will I not leave thee wholly 

Jeremiah 48:2
Literal: No more praise of Moab in Heshbon they have devised against her evil come and let us cut her off as a nation Also Madmen You shall be cut down shall pursue you the sword
KJV: There shall be no more praise  of Moab:  in Heshbon  they have devised  evil  and let us cut it off  from being a nation.  Also thou shalt be cut down,  O Madmen;  the sword  thee. 

Jeremiah 49:14
Literal: A message I have heard from Yahweh and an ambassador to the nations has been sent Gather together and come against her and rise up to battle
KJV: I have heard  a rumour  from the LORD,  and an ambassador  is sent  unto the heathen,  saying, Gather ye together,  and come  against her, and rise up  to the battle. 

Jeremiah 49:15
Literal: For indeed small I will make you among nations Despised among men
KJV: For, lo, I will make  thee small  among the heathen,  and despised  among men. 

Jeremiah 49:31
Literal: Arise go up to the nation wealthy that dwells securely says Yahweh neither which has gates nor bars to alone Dwelling
KJV: Arise,  get you up  unto the wealthy  nation,  that dwelleth  without care,  saith  the LORD,  which have neither gates  nor bars,  which dwell  alone. 

Jeremiah 49:36
Literal: And I will bring Against Elam the four winds from the four quarters of heaven and scatter them toward all winds these and no there shall be nations where not will go There the outcasts of Elam Elam
KJV: And upon Elam  will I bring  the four  winds  from the four  quarters  of heaven,  and will scatter  them toward all those winds;  and there shall be no nation  whither the outcasts  of Elam  shall not come. 

Jeremiah 50:2
Literal: Declare among the nations and Proclaim and set up a standard Proclaim not do conceal [it] Say ] is taken Babylon is shamed Bel is broken in pieces Merodach are humiliated Her idols are broken in pieces Her images
KJV: Declare  ye among the nations,  and publish,  and set up  a standard;  publish,  and conceal  not: say,  Babylon  is taken,  Bel  is confounded,  Merodach  is broken in pieces;  her idols  are confounded,  her images  are broken in pieces. 

Jeremiah 50:3
Literal: For comes up against her a nation out of the north it shall make - her land desolate and no one shall dwell therein from man and to beast They shall move they shall depart
KJV: For out of the north  there cometh up  a nation  against her, which shall make  her land  desolate,  and none shall dwell  therein: they shall remove,  they shall depart,  both man  and beast. 

Jeremiah 50:9
Literal: For behold I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon An assembly of nations great from the country north and they shall array themselves against her from there she shall be captured their arrows [shall be] like [those] of warrior an expert none shall return in vain
KJV: For, lo, I will raise  and cause to come up  against Babylon  an assembly  of great  nations  from the north  country:  and they shall set themselves in array  against her; from thence she shall be taken:  their arrows  shall be as of a mighty  expert man;  none shall return  in vain. 

Jeremiah 50:12
Literal: shall be ashamed Your mother deeply shall be ashamed She who bore you behold the least of the nations [shall be] a wilderness a dry land and a desert
KJV: Your mother  shall be sore  confounded;  she that bare  you shall be ashamed:  behold, the hindermost  of the nations  shall be a wilderness,  a dry land,  and a desert. 

Jeremiah 50:23
Literal: How has been cut apart and broken the hammer of all the earth has become a desolation Babylon among the nations
KJV: How is the hammer  of the whole earth  cut asunder  and broken!  how is Babylon  become a desolation  among the nations! 

Jeremiah 50:41
Literal: Behold a people shall come from the north and a nation great and kings many shall be raised up from the ends of the earth
