And they were ministering before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of meeting with music until had built Solomon - the house of Yahweh in Jerusalem and they served in their office according to their order

And took an oath the king and said [As] lives Yahweh who has redeemed - my life from every distress

And said the king to them take with you - the servants of your lord and have ride Solomon my son on mule which my own and take him down - to Gihon

And answered Benaiah son of Jehoiada - the king and said Amen so [too] May say Yahweh God of my lord the king

As has been Yahweh with my lord the king even so - may He be Solomon and make greater - his throne than the throne of my lord King David

So went down Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet and Benaiah son of Jehoiada and the Cherethites and the Pelethites and had ride - Solomon on mule King of David and took him to Gihon

And took Zadok the priest - a horn of oil from the tabernacle and anointed Solomon And they blew the horn and said all the people [Long] live King Solomon

And heard [it] Adonijah and all the guests who [were] with him and as they finished eating And when heard Joab - the sound of the horn and he said why [is] a noisy the city in such uproar

And answered Jonathan and said to Adonijah [No] but Our lord King David has made king - Solomon

And has sent with him the king - Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet and Benaiah son of Jehoiada and the Cherethites and the Pelethites and they have made ride him on mule of the king

And moreover have gone servants of the king to bless - our lord King David saying May make better - God the name of Solomon than your name and may He make greater his throne than your throne And bowed himself the king on the bed

And it was told Solomon saying indeed Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon for look he has taken hold of the horns of the altar let swear to me today Solomon not that he will put to death - his servant with the sword

Now when the queen of Sheba heard - of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of Yahweh and she came to test him with hard questions

So answered to Solomon - all her questions not there was nothing so difficult for the king that not he could explain [it] to her

Be Yahweh your God Blessed who delighted in you setting you on the throne of Israel because has loved - Israel forever therefore He made you king to do justice and righteousness

And made the king - of wood the almug steps for the house of Yahweh for house of the king and harps and stringed instruments for singers never there came again such wood almug nor has the like been seen to day this

And King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba - all she desired whatever she asked besides what had given her according to generosity the royal Solomon so she turned and went to her own country she and her servants -

And all the earth sought - the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom which had put God in his heart

And made [as common] the king - silver in Jerusalem as stones and cedar trees he made as the sycamores which [are] in the lowland as abundant

from the nations of whom had said Yahweh to the sons of Israel not You shall intermarry with them and they nor come in with you surely they will turn away - your hearts after their gods To these clung Solomon in love
1 Kings 11:3
And he had to wives princesses seven hundred and concubines three hundred and turned away his wives - his heart
1 Kings 11:4
For it was so when was old Solomon that his wives turned - his heart after gods other and not was his heart loyal to Yahweh his God as [was] the heart of David his father
1 Kings 11:11
Therefore said Yahweh to Solomon because because have done this you and not have kept My covenant and My statutes which I have commanded you surely I will tear away - the kingdom from you and give it to your servant
1 Kings 11:13
However - whole the kingdom not I will tear away tribe one I will give to your son for the sake of David my servant for the sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen

For it came to pass when was David in Edom had gone up and Joab the commander of the army to bury - the slain and after he had killed every male in Edom

And found Hadad favor in the sight of Pharaoh great so that he gave him as wife - the sister of his own wife that is the sister of Tahpenes Queen

And raised up God against him [another] adversary - Rezon the son of Eliada who had fled from Hadadezer king of Zobah his lord

And this [is] what caused that him to rebel - against the king Solomon had built - the Millo [and] repaired the damages to the City of David his father

And the man Jeroboam [was] a mighty man of valor and seeing Solomon - the young man that was industrious industrious was and made the officer him over all the labor force of the house of Joseph -

And he said to Jeroboam take for yourself ten pieces for thus says Yahweh the God of Israel behold I will tear - the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon and will give to you - tribes
1 Kings 11:34
And However not I will take - whole the kingdom out of his hand because ruler I have made him all the days of his life for the sake of David My servant whom I chose - because he kept My commandments and My statutes
1 Kings 11:38
And it shall be if you heed - all that I command you and walk in My ways and do [what is] right in My sight to keep My statutes and My commandments as did David My servant then I will be with you and build for you an house enduring I built for David and will give to you Israel
1 Kings 11:39
And I will afflict - the descendants of David because of this but not all forever -
1 Kings 11:40
Therefore sought Solomon to kill - Jeroboam But arose Jeroboam and fled to Egypt to Shishak king of Egypt and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon

Your father heavy made our yoke therefore you now lighten service of your father the burdensome and his yoke heavy which he put on us and we will serve you

And consulted King Rehoboam with the elders who while stood - before Solomon his father while he still lived and he said how you do advise [me] to answer people this answer

But he rejected - the advice the elders which had given him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him stood before him
1 Kings 12:9
And he said to them what you advice do give and how should we answer - people this who have spoken to me saying Lighten from the yoke which put your father on us
1 Kings 12:10
And spoke to him the young men who had grown up with him saying thus you should speak to people this who have spoken to you saying Your father heavy made our yoke but you make [it] lighter on us thus you shall say to them My little [finger] shall be thicker than waist of my father

And answered the king - the people roughly and rejected the advice the elders which had given him
1 Kings 12:15
So not did listen the king to the people for was the turn [of events] from Yahweh that He might fulfill - His word which had spoken Yahweh by Ahijah the Shilonite Jeroboam son of Nebat
1 Kings 12:16
And when saw all Israel that not did listen the king to them and answered the people - the king answered saying what have we portion in David and no [We have] inheritance in the son of Jesse to your tents Israel now see to your own house David So departed Israel to their tents
1 Kings 12:18
And sent King Rehoboam - Adoram who [was] in charge of the revenue but stoned all Israel him with stones and he died Therefore King in haste mounted his chariot to flee to Jerusalem

- And when came Rehoboam to Jerusalem and he assembled - all the house of Judah and with the tribe of Benjamin a hundred and eighty thousand chosen [men] who were warriors to fight against of Israel that he might restore the kingdom to Rehoboam son of Solomon -

thus says Yahweh not You shall go up nor fight against your brothers the sons of Israel and let return every man to his house for from Me is thing this therefore they obeyed - the word of Yahweh and turned back to depart according to the word of Yahweh -
1 Kings 12:25
And built Jeroboam - Shechem in the mountains of Ephraim and dwelt there and he went out from there Penuel
1 Kings 12:29
And he set up - one in Bethel and he put in Dan
1 Kings 12:31
And He made - shrines on the high places and made priests from every class of people who not were of the sons of Levi
1 Kings 12:32
And ordained Jeroboam a feast of the month eighth on the five [and] ten day of the month like the feast that [was] in Judah and offered sacrifices on the altar So he did at Bethel sacrificing to the calves that he had made And he installed at Bethel - the priests of the high places which he had made
1 Kings 13:2
And he cried out against the altar by the word of Yahweh and said altar altar thus says Yahweh behold a child shall be born to the house of David Josiah by name and he shall sacrifice on you - the priests of the high places who burn incense and bones men's shall be burned on you
1 Kings 13:4
So it came to pass when heard King - the saying of the man of God who cried out against the altar in Bethel that he stretched out Jeroboam his hand from the altar saying Arrest him and withered his hand which he stretched out toward him so that not he could pull it back to himself
1 Kings 13:6
And answered the king and said to the man of God please entreat now - the favor of Yahweh your God and pray for me that may be restored my hand to me So entreated the man of God before the face of Yahweh and was restored hand of the king to him and became as before
1 Kings 13:8
But said the man of God to the king if you were to give me - half your house not I would go in with you nor would I eat bread nor drink water in place this
1 Kings 13:11
And prophet an old dwelt in Bethel and came his sons and told him - all the works that had done the man of God that day Bethel the words which he had spoken to the king and they told their father
1 Kings 13:12
And said to them their father what which way did he go for had seen his sons - way which went the man of God who came from Judah
1 Kings 13:21
and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah saying thus says Yahweh because because you have disobeyed the word of Yahweh and not have kept - the commandment which commanded you Yahweh your God
1 Kings 13:25
And there men passed by and saw - the corpse thrown on the road and the lion standing by the corpse and they went and told [it] in the city where the prophet old dwelt in
1 Kings 13:26
And when heard [it] the prophet who had brought him back from the way and he said the man of God it [is] was disobedient to the word of Yahweh therefore has delivered him Yahweh to the lion and which has torn him and killed him according to the word of Yahweh which He spoke to him
1 Kings 13:28
And he went and found - his corpse thrown on the road and the donkey and the lion standing by the corpse not had eaten the lion the corpse nor torn - the donkey
1 Kings 13:29
And took up the prophet - the corpse of the man of God and laid it on the donkey and brought it back so came to the city old to mourn and to bury him
1 Kings 13:30
And he laid - the corpse in his own tomb and they mourned over him [saying] Alas my brother
1 Kings 13:31
so it was after he had buried him that he spoke to his sons saying when I am dead then bury me in the tomb where the man of God [is] buried in beside his bones lay - my bones
1 Kings 13:33
after event this not did turn Jeroboam from his way evil but again and he made from every class of people priests for the high places whoever wished he consecrated - him and he became [one] of the priests of the high places
1 Kings 14:6
And so it was when heard Ahijah - the sound of her footsteps as she came through the door and he said come in wife of Jeroboam why [is] this [that] you pretend [to be] another [person] for I [have been] sent to you [with] bad [news]

and tore away - the kingdom from the house of David and gave it to you and [yet] not you have been as My servant David who kept My commandments and who followed Me with all his heart to do only [what was] right in My eyes

Moreover will raise up Yahweh for Himself a king over Israel who shall cut off - the house of Jeroboam this [is] the day and what Even now
1 Kings 14:15
For will strike Yahweh - Israel as is shaken a reed in the water and He will uproot Israel from land good this which He gave to their fathers and will scatter them beyond the River upon that they have made their wooden images provoking to anger Yahweh

And He will give up - Israel because of the sins of Jeroboam who sinned and who made sin Israel
1 Kings 14:21
And Rehoboam son of Solomon reigned in Judah Old forty and one years Rehoboam [was] when he became king and seven [and] ten years He reigned in Jerusalem the city which had chosen Yahweh to put - His name there From all the tribes of Israel and name [was] of His mother Naamah an Ammonitess
1 Kings 14:26
And he took away - the treasures of the house of Yahweh and the treasures of house of the king everything he took away and He took away all the shields gold which had made Solomon

Nevertheless for sake of David gave Yahweh his God him a lamp in Jerusalem by setting up - his son after him and by establishing Jerusalem

because did David - [what was] right in the eyes of Yahweh and not had turned aside from anything that He commanded him all the days of his life except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite

And he banished the perverted persons from the land and removed - all the idols that had made his fathers

And - Maacah his grandmother and he removed from [being] queen mother because she had made an repulsive image of Asherah and cut down Asa the repulsive image and burned [it] by the Brook Kidron

And He brought - the things which had dedicated his father - and the things dedicated into the house of Yahweh silver and gold and utensils
1 Kings 15:17
And came up Baasha king of Israel against Judah and fortified - Ramah that none he might let go out or come in to Asa king of Judah
1 Kings 15:18
And took Asa - all the silver and gold [that was] left in the treasuries of the house of Yahweh and the treasuries of house - of the king and delivered them into the hand of his servants And sent them king Asa to in Ben-hadad son of Tabrimmon the son of Hezion King of Syria who dwelt in Damascus saying
1 Kings 15:19
[Let there be] a treaty between me and you as there was between my father and your father See I have sent you a present of silver and gold come and break - your treaty with Baasha king of Israel so that he will withdraw from me
1 Kings 15:20
So heeded in Ben-hadad unto King Asa and sent and the captains of armies that his against the cities of Israel He attacked and Ijon and Dan and - in Abel Beth Maachah and all Chinnereth with the land of Naphtali

And it came to pass when heard [it] Baasha that he stopped building - Ramah and remained in Tirzah
1 Kings 15:22
And King Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah none [was] exempted and they took away - the stones of Ramah and timber which had used for building Baasha and built with them King Asa Geba of Benjamin Mizpah

And the rest of all the acts of Asa and all his might that he did and the cities which he built [are] not they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah but in the time of his old age he was diseased in in his feet

And he did evil in the sight of Yahweh and walked in the way of his father and in his sin by which he had made sin - Israel
1 Kings 15:29
And it was so when he became king [that] he killed - all the house of Jeroboam not he did leave anyone that breathed to Jeroboam until He had destroyed him according to the word of Yahweh which He had spoken by His servant Ahijah the Shilonite

because of the sins of Jeroboam which he had sinned and by which he had made sin - Israel because of his provocation with which he had provoked to anger Yahweh God of Israel

And he did evil in the sight of Yahweh and walked in the way of Jeroboam and in his sin by which He had made sin - Israel -
1 Kings 16:2
Inasmuch as I lifted you out of the dust and made you ruler over My people Israel and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have made sin - Israel to provoke Me to anger with their sins
1 Kings 16:3
surely I will take away the posterity of Baasha and the posterity of his house and I will make - your house like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat
1 Kings 16:11
And it came to pass when he began to reign as soon as he was seated on his throne [that] he killed - all the household of Baasha not he did leave him one male wall and neither of his relatives nor of his friends

for all the sins of Baasha and the sins of Elah his son by which they had sinned and by which they had made sin - Israel in provoking to anger Yahweh God of Israel with their idols

And heard [it] the people [who were] encamped said has conspired Zimri and also has killed - the king So made king all Israel Omri the commander of the army over Israel day that in the camp

And it came to pass when saw Zimri that was taken the city that he went into the citadel of house of the king and burned down upon himself - house of the king with fire and died
1 Kings 16:19
because of the sins which he had committed in doing evil in the sight of Yahweh in walking in the way of Jeroboam and in his sin he had committed to make sin - Israel
1 Kings 16:22
But prevailed over the people who followed Omri against the people Tibni son of Ginath So died Tibni and reigned Omri -
1 Kings 16:24
And he bought - the hill of Samaria from Shemer for two talents of silver and he built on the hill then called the name of the city which he built after the name of Shemer owner of the hill Samaria
1 Kings 16:26
For he walked in all the ways of Jeroboam son of Nebat - and in his sin by which he had made sin - Israel provoking to anger Yahweh God of Israel with their idols
1 Kings 16:31
And it came to pass as though it had been a trivial thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat that he took as wife - Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians and he went and served Baal and worshiped him
1 Kings 16:33
And made Ahab - a wooden image and more did to provoke to anger Yahweh God of Israel than all the kings who were before him
1 Kings 16:34
In his days built Hiel of Bethel - Jericho with Abiram his firstborn He laid its foundation Segub and with Segub his youngest [son] he set up its gates according to the word of Yahweh which He had spoken through Joshua son of Nun -
1 Kings 17:18
So she said to Elijah what have I to do and with you man of God have you come to me to bring to remembrance - my sin and to kill my son
1 Kings 17:19
and he said to her Give me - your son So he took him out of her arms and carried him to the upper room where he was staying there and laid him on his own bed

And he cried out to Yahweh and said my God have also on the widow whom I lodge with whom You brought tragedy by killing - her son

And took Elijah - the child and brought him down from the upper room into the house and gave him to his mother and said Elijah See lives your son

And had called Ahab to Obadiah who [was] in charge of [his] house Now Obadiah feared feared - Yahweh greatly

So they divided between them - the land to explore it Ahab went way one by himself and Obadiah way one by himself

[As] lives Yahweh your God no there is nation or kingdom where not has sent [someone] my master there to hunt for you and when they said [He is] not [here] and he took an oath from the kingdom or nation that not they could find you

And it shall come to pass [as soon as] I am gone from you that the Spirit of Yahweh will carry you there to a place not I do know so when I go [and] tell Ahab and cannot he find you and he will kill me but I your servant have feared - Yahweh from my youth

And it came to pass when saw Ahab - Elijah that said Ahab to him [Is] you this troubler of Israel

and he answered not I have troubled - Israel for but you and house [have] of your father in that you have forsaken the commandments of Yahweh and have followed - the Baals

Now therefore send [and] gather to me - all Israel on Mount Carmel and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty and the prophets of Asherah hundred who eat at table of Jezebel

So sent Ahab for all the sons of Israel and gathered together - the prophets on Mount Carmel
1 Kings 18:23
Therefore let them give us two bulls and let them choose for themselves bull one cut it in pieces and lay [it] on the wood but fire no put [under it] and I will prepare - bull one and lay [it] put [under it]

So they took - the bull which was given them and they prepared [it] and called on the name of Baal from morning and even till noon saying Baal hear us but [there was] no voice and no one answered And they leaped about the altar which they had made

And said Elijah to all the people come near to me so came near all the people to him and he repaired - the altar of Yahweh [that was] broken down

And he built with the stones an altar in the name of Yahweh and he made a trench large enough to hold two seahs of seed Around altar

and he put in order - the wood and cut in pieces the bull and laid [it] on the wood
1 Kings 18:35
So ran the water all around the altar and also - the trench he filled with water
1 Kings 18:37
Hear me Yahweh hear me that may know people this that You [are] Yahweh God and [that] You have turned again - their hearts backward
1 Kings 18:38
And fell the fire of Yahweh and consumed - the burnt sacrifice and the wood the stones the dust the water that [was] in the trench it licked up
1 Kings 18:40
And said Elijah to them Seize - the prophets of Baal one not do let escape Of them and they seized them and brought them down Elijah to the Brook Kishon and executed them there

And told Ahab Jezebel - all that had done Elijah and also how he had executed - the prophets with the sword

But he went into the wilderness journey of a day and came and sat down under broom tree a a and he prayed - for himself that he might die and said it is enough now Yahweh take my life for no better I [am] than my fathers

so he said very I have been zealous for Yahweh God of hosts for have forsaken Your covenant the sons of Israel - Your altars torn down and Your prophets killed with the sword and am left I alone and they seek my life to take

and he said very I have been zealous for Yahweh God of hosts because have forsaken Your covenant the sons of Israel - Your altars torn down and Your prophets killed with the sword and am left I alone and they seek my life to take -

And said Yahweh to him go return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus and when you arrive and anoint - Hazael [as] king over Syria
1 Kings 19:19
So he departed from there and found - Elisha son of Shaphat and he [was] plowing two [and] ten [with] yoke [of oxen] before him and he [was] with two and ten and passed Elijah by him and threw his cloak on him
1 Kings 19:20
And he left - the oxen and ran after Elijah and said let me kiss please my father and my mother and [then] I will follow you and he said to him go back again for what have I done to you
1 Kings 19:21
So [Elisha] turned back from him and took - a yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and using equipment of the oxen and boiled their flesh and gave [it] to the people and they ate And he arose and followed after Elijah and became his servant -

And drew near the days of David that he should die and he charged - Solomon his son saying
1 Kings 2:3
and keep - the charge of Yahweh your God to walk in His ways to keep His statutes His commandments and His judgments and His testimonies as it is written in the Law of Moses that you may prosper - in all that you do and all wherever you turn in it
1 Kings 2:4
That may fulfill Yahweh - His word which He spoke concerning me saying if take heed your sons to their way to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul He said not shall lack you a man on the throne of Israel
1 Kings 2:9
Now therefore not do hold him guiltless for a man wise you [are] and know - what you ought to do to him but bring down - his gray hair in blood to the grave
1 Kings 2:16
Now petition one I ask of you not Do deny - me and she said to him Say it
1 Kings 2:17
And he said speak please to Solomon the King for not he will refuse - you that he may give me Abishag Shunammitess as wife
1 Kings 2:20
And she said petition one small I desire of you not Do refuse - me and said to her the king Ask it my mother for not I will refuse you
1 Kings 2:21
So she said let be given - Abishag the Shunammitess to Adonijah your brother as wife
1 Kings 2:22
And answered King Solomon and said to his mother and why you do ask - Abishag the Shunammitess for Adonijah and Ask also for him the kingdom for he [is] brother older my for him for Abiathar the priest for Joab son of Zeruiah -
1 Kings 2:23
And swore King Solomon by Yahweh saying so May do to me God and also more if against his own life Has not spoken Adonijah - word this
1 Kings 2:26
And to Abiathar the priest said the king to Anathoth go to your own fields for deserving of death you [are] but at time this not I will put you to death because you carried - the ark of the Lord GOD before David my father and because you were afflicted every [time] there was afflicted my father
1 Kings 2:27
So removed Solomon - Abiathar from being priest to Yahweh that he might fulfill the word of Yahweh which He spoke concerning the house of Eli at Shiloh -
1 Kings 2:29
And was told King Solomon that has fled Joab to the tabernacle of Yahweh and there [he is] by the altar And sent Solomon - Benaiah son of Jehoiada saying go strike down him
1 Kings 2:30
So went Benaiah to the tabernacle of Yahweh and said to him thus says the king come out And he said No but here I will die and brought back Benaiah - to the king word saying said Joab and thus he answered me
1 Kings 2:32
So will return Yahweh - his blood on his head because he struck down two men more righteous and better than he and killed them with the sword and though my father David not did know [it] Abner son of Ner the commander of the army of Israel and Amasa son of Jether of Judah
1 Kings 2:35
And put the king - Benaiah son of Jehoiada in his place over the army and Zadok the priest put the king in the place of Abiathar
1 Kings 2:37
For it shall be on the day you go out and cross - the Brook Kidron certain know for that surely you shall die your blood shall be on your own head
1 Kings 2:40
So arose Shimei and saddled - his donkey and went at Gath to Achish to seek his slaves And went and brought his slaves from Gath
1 Kings 2:44
And moreover said the king to Shimei You know - all the wickedness as acknowledges your heart that you did to David my father therefore will return Yahweh - your wickedness on your own head
1 Kings 2:46
So commanded the king - Benaiah son of Jehoiada and he went out and struck down him and he died Thus the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon
1 Kings 20:1
Now Ben-hadad the king of Syria gathered together - all his forces and thirty and two kings [were] with him and [with] horses and chariots And he went up and besieged on Samaria and made war against it
1 Kings 20:6
But about this time tomorrow I will send - my servants to you and they shall search your house and the houses of your servants and it shall be [that] whatever is pleasant in your eyes they will put [it] in their hands and take [it]
1 Kings 20:12
And it came to pass when [Ben-hadad] heard - message this and as he [was] drinking he and the kings at the command post that he said to his servants Get ready and they got ready to attack upon the city
1 Kings 20:15
And he mustered - the young leaders of the provinces and there were two hundred two and thirty and after them he mustered - all the people the sons of Israel seven thousand
1 Kings 20:21
And went out the king of Israel and attacked - the horses and chariots and killed in Syria a slaughter great
1 Kings 20:26
So it was in the spring of the year that mustered in Ben-hadad - Syria and went up to Aphek to fight against Israel
1 Kings 20:27
And the sons of Israel were mustered and given provisions and they went against them and encamped the sons of Israel before them like two little flocks of goats and while Syria filled - the countryside
1 Kings 20:28
And came a man of God and spoke to the king of Israel and said thus says Yahweh because that had said Syria God of the hills Yahweh [is] but not of the valleys He [is] therefore I will deliver - all multitude great this into your hand and you shall know that I [am] Yahweh
1 Kings 20:29
And they encamped these opposite [for] seven days So it was that on the day seventh and was joined the battle and killed the sons of Israel - [of] Syria a hundred thousand foot soldiers in day one
1 Kings 20:31
And said to him his servants Look now we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel for kings merciful are let us put please sackcloth around our waists and ropes around our heads and go out to the king of Israel perhaps he will spare - your life
1 Kings 20:39
And as the king passed by and he cried out to the king and said Your servant went out into the midst of the battle and there a man came over and brought to me a man and said Guard - man this if by any means he is missing and shall be your life for his life or else a talent of silver you shall pay
1 Kings 20:41
And he hastened and to take away - the bandage - from his eyes and recognized him the king of Israel that one of the prophets he [was]
1 Kings 20:42
And he said to him thus says Yahweh because you have let slip - a man utter destruction out of [your] hand therefore shall go your life for his life and your people his people
1 Kings 21:3
But said Naboth to Ahab forbid to Yahweh that I should give - the inheritance of my fathers to you
1 Kings 21:4
So went Ahab into his house sullen and displeased because of the word which had spoken to him Naboth the Jezreelite for he had said not I will give you - the inheritance of my fathers And he lay down on his bed and turned away his face and no would eat food
1 Kings 21:6
and he said to her because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite and said to him Give me - your vineyard for money or else if it pleases you I will give you [another] vineyard for it and He answered not I will give - my vineyard
1 Kings 21:7
And said to him Jezebel his wife You now exercise authority over Israel Arise eat food and let be cheerful your heart I will give you - the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite
1 Kings 21:8
And she wrote letters in name of Ahab and sealed [them] with his seal and sent - the letters to the elders and the nobles who in the city [were] dwelling with Naboth
1 Kings 21:9
And she wrote in the letters saying Proclaim a fast and seat - Naboth with high honor the among people
1 Kings 21:12
They proclaimed a fast and seated - Naboth with high honor the among people

And came in two men sons scoundrels and sat before him and witnessed against him the scoundrels against Naboth before the people saying has cursed Naboth God and the king And they took him outside the city and stoned him with stones so that he died

And it came to pass when heard Jezebel that had been stoned Naboth and was dead that said Jezebel to Ahab Arise take possession - of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite which he refused to give you for money for not is alive but dead
1 Kings 21:19
And You shall speak to him saying thus says Yahweh have you murdered and also taken possession in the place where licked dogs - the blood of Naboth shall lick dogs your blood even you
1 Kings 21:22
and I will make - your house like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha son of Ahijah because of the provocation with which you have provoked [Me] to anger and made sin Israel
1 Kings 21:23
And also concerning Jezebel spoke Yahweh saying the dogs shall eat - Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel
1 Kings 21:27
So it was when heard Ahab - words these that he tore his clothes and put sackcloth on his body and fasted and lay in sackcloth and went about mourning -
1 Kings 22:5
And said Jehoshaphat to the king of Israel inquire please today For for the word of Yahweh
1 Kings 22:8
So said the king of Israel to Jehoshaphat [there is] still man one we may inquire of Yahweh by whom but I hate him because not he does prophesy concerning me good for but evil Micaiah son of Imlah and said Jehoshaphat not let say the king such things
1 Kings 22:11
And had made for himself Zedekiah son of Chenaanah horns of iron and he said thus says Yahweh with these you shall gore - Syria until they are destroyed
1 Kings 22:14
And said Micaiah [As] lives Yahweh for - whatever says to me that I will speak
1 Kings 22:17
and he said I saw - all Israel scattered on the mountains as sheep that no have shepherd And said Yahweh no master These have let return each to his house in peace
1 Kings 22:19
and [Micaiah] said therefore hear the word of Yahweh I saw - Yahweh sitting on His throne and all the host of heaven standing by on His right hand and on His left
1 Kings 22:20
And said Yahweh who will persuade - Ahab and to go up that he may fall at Ramoth Gilead Gilead so spoke this [one] in this manner and this [one] spoke in that manner
1 Kings 22:24
And went near Zedekiah son of Chenaanah and struck - Micaiah on the cheek and said where [is] this [way that] went from the spirit Yahweh from me to speak to you
1 Kings 22:26
So said the king of Israel take - Micaiah and return him to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash son of the king
1 Kings 22:27
And say thus says the king Put - this [fellow] in the prison in prison and feed him with bread of affliction and water of affliction until I come in peace
1 Kings 22:31
Now the king of Syria had commanded - the captains of his chariots which to thirty and two saying neither Fight with [no one] small or great except but the king of Israel only
1 Kings 22:32
So it was when saw the captains of the chariots - Jehoshaphat that they said surely the king of Israel It [is] therefore they turned aside against him to fight and cried out Jehoshaphat
1 Kings 22:34
And a [certain] man drew a bow at random and struck - the king of Israel between the joints and of [his] armor So he said to the driver of his chariot Turn around - and take me out of the battle for I am wounded
1 Kings 22:37
So died the king and was brought to Samaria and they buried - the king in Samaria
1 Kings 22:38
And [someone] washed - the chariot at a pool in Samaria and licked up the dogs his blood and while the harlots bathed according to the word of Yahweh which He had spoken
1 Kings 22:52
And He did evil in the sight of Yahweh and walked in the way of his father and in the way of mother and in the way of Jeroboam son of Nebat who had made sin - Israel
1 Kings 22:53
For he served - Baal and worshiped him and provoked to anger Yahweh God of Israel according to all that had done his father
1 Kings 3:1
And made a treaty Solomon with Pharaoh king of Egypt and married - daughter of Pharaoh then he brought her to the City of David until he had finished building his own house and the house of Yahweh the wall Jerusalem all around
1 Kings 3:3
And loved Solomon - Yahweh walking in the statutes of David his father except that at the high places He sacrificed and burned incense
1 Kings 3:6
And said Solomon You have shown to Your servant David my father mercy great because he walked before You in truth and in righteousness and in uprightness of heart with You and You have continued for him - kindness great this and You have given him a son to sit on his throne as [it is] day this
1 Kings 3:9
Therefore give to Your servant an heart understanding to judge - Your people that I may discern between good and evil For who is able to judge - people of Yours great this
1 Kings 3:10
And pleased the speech in the sight Yahweh that had asked Solomon - thing this
1 Kings 3:11
And said God to him because that you have asked - thing this and not have asked for yourself life long nor riches nor the life of your enemies but have asked understanding to discern justice
1 Kings 3:14
So if you walk in My ways to keep My statutes and My commandments as walked David your father then I will lengthen - your days -
1 Kings 3:20
So she arose in the middle of the night and took - my son from my side and while your maidservant slept and laid him in her bosom and her child dead laid in my bosom
1 Kings 3:21
And when I rose in the morning to nurse - my son and there he was dead but when I had examined him in the morning and indeed not he was my son whom I had borne
1 Kings 3:25
And said the king Divide - the child living in two and give - half to one and half to one
1 Kings 3:26
And spoke the woman whose son [was] living to the king for she yearned with compassion for her son and she said O my lord give her - the child living and by no means kill him but this [one] said neither mine nor yours neither let him be [but] divide [him]
1 Kings 3:27
So answered the king and said Give the first woman - the child living and by no means kill him she [is] his mother
1 Kings 3:28
And heard all Israel of the judgment which had rendered the king and they feared the king the king for they saw that the wisdom of God [was] in him to administer justice -
1 Kings 4:7
And had Solomon two [and] ten governors over all Israel and who provided food for the king and his household one month of the year become for one [each] one made provision -
1 Kings 4:15
Ahimaaz in Naphtali also he took - Basemath the daughter of Solomon as wife
1 Kings 4:21
So Solomon become reigned over all kingdoms from the River [to] the land of the Philistines and as far as the border of Egypt [They] brought tribute and served - Solomon all the days of his life -

And provided food governors these for King Solomon for all who came to table King of Solomon each man in his month no there was lack in their supply
1 Kings 4:34
And men came of all nations to hear - the wisdom of Solomon from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom -
1 Kings 5:1
And sent Hiram king of Tyre - his servants to Solomon because he heard that him they had anointed king in place of his father for had loved was David Ever always -
1 Kings 5:3
You know - David my father how not could build a house for the Name of Yahweh his God because of the wars which were fought against him on every side until put Yahweh [his [foes] under the soles of his feet
1 Kings 5:7
So when it was heard Hiram - the words of Solomon that he rejoiced greatly and said Blessed [be] Yahweh this day for He has given David a son wise over people great this
1 Kings 5:8
And sent Hiram to Solomon saying I have considered [the message] - which you sent me [and] I will do - all you desire concerning the cedar and logs cypress of fir
1 Kings 5:9
My servants shall bring [them] down from Lebanon to the sea and I will float them in rafts by sea to the place that you indicate to me and will have them broken apart there then you can take [them] away and you shall fulfill - my desire by giving food for my household
1 Kings 6:5
And he built Against the wall of the temple - chambers all around - [against] the walls of the temple the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary thus he made side chambers all around it
1 Kings 6:9
So he built - the temple and finished it and he paneled the temple with beams and boards of cedar
1 Kings 6:10
And he built - - side chambers against entire the temple [each] five cubits high and they were attached to the temple with beams cedar -
1 Kings 6:12
temple [Concerning] this which you are building if you walk in My statutes and My judgments execute and keep - all My commandments and walk in them then I will perform My word with you which I spoke to David your father
1 Kings 6:13
And I will dwell among the sons of Israel and not will forsake - My people Israel -
1 Kings 6:14
So built Solomon it the temple and finished
1 Kings 6:15
And he built - the walls of the temple inside with boards cedar from the floor of the temple even to the ceiling he paneled with wood the inside and he covered the floor with planks of cypress
1 Kings 6:16
And he built - the twenty cubit [room] - at the rear of the temple with boards cedar from floor to ceiling and he built [it] inside as the inner sanctuary as Most the Holy [Place]
1 Kings 6:19
And the inner sanctuary inside the temple inside he prepared to set there - the ark of the covenant of Yahweh
1 Kings 6:21
So overlaid Solomon - the temple the inside of with gold Pure and He stretched across - chains gold the front of the inner sanctuary and overlaid it with gold
1 Kings 6:27
And he set - the cherubim inside the room inner and they stretched out the wings of the cherubim so that touched the wing of the one [one] wall and the wing of the cherub second touched the wall second and their wings in the middle of the room Touched one each other

And he overlaid - the cherubim with gold
1 Kings 6:32
And two the doors [were of] wood olive and he carved on them figures of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers and overlaid [them] with gold and he spread on the cherubim and on the palm trees - gold

And he built - the court inner three with rows of hewn stone and a row of beams cedar
1 Kings 7:1
But his own house took to build Solomon three [and] ten years so he finished - all his house
1 Kings 7:2
And He built - the House of the Forest of Lebanon a hundred cubits its length [was] and fifty cubits its width and thirty its height with four rows of pillars cedar and beams cedar on the pillars

And sent King Solomon and brought - Huram from Tyre
1 Kings 7:14
The son of a woman a widow He [was] from the tribe of Naphtali and his father [was] a man Tyrian a worker bronze and he was filled with wisdom and understanding skill in working with all kinds of work bronze So he came to King Solomon and did - all his work
1 Kings 7:15
And he cast - two pillars of bronze eight [and] ten cubits [was the] hight of pillar one and a line of two measured the circumference pillar the second
1 Kings 7:18
So he made - the pillars and two rows all around above the network one to cover the capitals that [were] on top of pomegranates and thus he did for the capital of the second
1 Kings 7:21
And he set up - the pillars by the vestibule of the temple and he set up the pillar on the right and called its name Jachin on the left its name Boaz
1 Kings 7:23
And he made - the Sea of cast bronze ten cubits from one brim to the other [it was] round completely and five cubits Its height [was] - and a line of thirty cubits measured its circumference
1 Kings 7:24
And [were] ornamental buds Under Below its brim encircling all around it ten to a cubit all the way - the Sea around two in rows the ornamental buds [were] cast when it was cast
1 Kings 7:27
And He made - carts of ten bronze four cubits [was] the length of cart one and four cubits its width and three cubits its height
1 Kings 7:39
And he put - carts five on side of the house the right and five of the house the left and the Sea he set on side of the house the right eastward toward the Negev -
1 Kings 7:40
And made Huram - the lavers and the shovels the bowls So finished Huram doing all the work that he was to do for King Solomon [for] the house of Yahweh
1 Kings 7:41
the pillars two and [two] bowl-shaped the capitals that [were] on top of the pillars two and the networks two covering - two bowl-shaped the capitals that [were] of the pillars
1 Kings 7:42
and pomegranates four hundred for two the networks two rows of pomegranates for network one to cover - two bowl-shaped the capitals that [were] on top of the pillars
1 Kings 7:47
And did not weigh Solomon - all the articles because exceedingly there were so many not was determined the weight of the bronze
1 Kings 7:51
so was finished all the work that had done King Solomon for the house of Yahweh And brought in - the things which had dedicated David his father the silver and the gold the furnishings He put them in the treasuries of the house of Yahweh -
1 Kings 8:1
Then assembled Solomon - the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes the chief fathers of the sons to King in Jerusalem that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of Yahweh from the City of David that [is] Zion
1 Kings 8:3
So came all the elders of Israel and took up the priests - the ark
1 Kings 8:4
And they brought up - the ark of Yahweh and the tabernacle of meeting and all furnishings the holy that [were] in the tabernacle and brought them up - The priests and the Levites
1 Kings 8:6
And brought in the priests - the ark of the covenant of Yahweh to its place into the inner sanctuary of the temple the most the Most Holy [Place] under under the wings of the cherubim
1 Kings 8:10
And it came to pass when came out the priests of the holy [place] that the cloud filled - the house of Yahweh
1 Kings 8:11
so that not could the priests continue ministering because of the cloud for filled the glory of Yahweh - the house of Yahweh -
1 Kings 8:14
And turned around the king - his face and blessed - whole the assembly of Israel and while all of Israel was standing
1 Kings 8:16
Since the day that I brought - My people Israel out of Egypt no I have chosen city from any tribe of Israel [in which] to build a house that might be My name there but I chose David to be over Israel
1 Kings 8:20
So has fulfilled Yahweh - His word which He spoke and I have filled the position of David my father and sit on the throne of Israel as promised and I have built a temple for the Name of Yahweh God of Israel
1 Kings 8:25
Therefore now Yahweh God of Israel keep Your servant David my father - what You promised to him saying not shall fail to have You a man before Me sit on the throne of Israel only if take heed to your sons - their way that they walk before Me as you have walked before Me
1 Kings 8:32
Then You hear in heaven and act and judge - Your servants condemning the wicked bringing his way on his head and justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness -
1 Kings 8:33
When are defeated Your people Israel before an enemy because they have sinned against You and when they turn back to You and confess - Your name and pray and make supplication to You in temple this
1 Kings 8:35
When are shut up the heavens and no there is rain because they have sinned against You and when they pray toward place this and confess - Your name and from their sin turn You afflict them
1 Kings 8:36
Then You hear in heaven and forgive the sin of Your servants and Your people Israel that You may teach them - the way good in which they should walk in and send rain on Your land which You have given to Your people as an inheritance -
1 Kings 8:39
Then You hear in heaven place Your dwelling and forgive and act and give to everyone according to all his ways whose You know - heart for You know alone the hearts of all the sons of men
1 Kings 8:42
For they will hear - of Your name great and Your hand mighty and Your arm outstretched and when he comes and prays toward temple this
1 Kings 8:43
You hear in heaven place Your dwelling and do according to all for which calls to You the foreigner that may know all peoples of the earth - Your name and fear You as [do] Your people Israel that they may know that Your name Is called by temple this which I have built
1 Kings 8:45
then hear in heaven - their prayer and their supplication and maintain their cause
1 Kings 8:49
then hear in heaven place Your dwelling - their prayer and their supplication and maintain their cause
1 Kings 8:53
For You separated them [to be] to Your inheritance from among all the peoples of the earth as You spoke by Moses Your servant when You brought - our fathers out of Egypt Lord GOD -
1 Kings 8:58
That He may incline our hearts to Himself to walk in all His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments which He commanded - our fathers
1 Kings 8:63
And offered Solomon - a sacrifice of peace offerings which he offered to Yahweh bulls twenty and two thousand and sheep A hundred and twenty thousand so dedicated - the house of Yahweh The king and all the sons of Israel
1 Kings 8:64
On day that consecrated the king - the middle of the court that [was] in front of the house of Yahweh for he offered there burnt offerings and grain offerings and the fat of the peace offerings because altar the bronze that [was] before Yahweh [was] too small to receive the burnt offerings the grain offerings of the peace offerings
1 Kings 8:65
And held Solomon at time that - a feast and all Israel with him a assembly great from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt before Yahweh our God seven days and seven [more] days four [and] ten days

On the day eighth he sent away - the people and they blessed the king and went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the good that had done Yahweh for David His servant for Israel His people
1 Kings 9:1
And it came to pass when had finished Solomon building - the house of Yahweh and the house of king and all desire of Solomon which he wanted to do -
1 Kings 9:3
And said Yahweh to him I have heard - your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me I have consecrated house this which you have built to put My name there there for ever and will be My eyes and My heart perpetually perpetually
1 Kings 9:5
Then I will establish - the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever as I promised to David your father saying not shall fail to have You a man on of Israel
1 Kings 9:7
Then I will cut off - Israel from my sight the land which I have given them and this house I have consecrated for My name I will cast out of My sight and will be Israel a proverb and a byword among all peoples
1 Kings 9:9
and they will answer therefore because they forsook - Yahweh their God who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt and have embraced gods other - and worshiped them and served them upon thus has brought Yahweh on them - all calamity this -
1 Kings 9:10
And it came to pass at the end of twenty years when had built Solomon - two the houses the house of Yahweh and house of the king
1 Kings 9:11
Hiram the king of Tyre had supplied - Solomon with cedar and cypress fir and gold as much as he desired then gave [that] King Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee
1 Kings 9:12
And went Hiram from Tyre to see - the cities which had given him Solomon but not they did please him

And this [is] the reason for the labor force which raised King Solomon to build - the house of Yahweh and his own house the Millo and the wall of Jerusalem Hazor Megiddo Gezer
1 Kings 9:16
Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up and taken - Gezer and burned it with fire and the Canaanite who dwelt in the city had killed and had given it [as] a dowry to his daughter wife of Solomon
1 Kings 9:17
And built Solomon - Gezer and in Beth Horon Lower
1 Kings 9:24
But daughter of Pharaoh came up from the City of David to her house which [Solomon] had built for her then he built - the Millo
1 Kings 9:25
And offered Solomon three times a year burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar which he had built for Yahweh and he burned incense [on the altar] with them that [was] before Yahweh So he finished - the temple
1 Kings 9:26
And a [fleet] of ships built King Solomon at Ezion Geber which [is] near Elath on the shore of the Sea Red in the land of Edom
1 Kings 9:27
And sent [to work] Hiram with the ships - his servants men of ships who knew the sea with the servants of Solomon
1 Samuel 1:5
but to Hannah he would give portion a double for - Hannah he loved although Yahweh had closed her womb
1 Samuel 1:11
And she made a vow and said Yahweh of hosts if indeed You will look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me and not forget - Your maidservant but will give Your maidservant a child male then I will give him to Yahweh all the days of his life and razor no shall come upon his head
1 Samuel 1:12
And it came to pass as she continued praying before Yahweh that Eli watched - her mouth
1 Samuel 1:14
So said to her Eli how long will you be drunk Put away - your wine from you
1 Samuel 1:15
And answered Hannah and said No my lord I [am] a woman of sorrowful spirit I and neither wine nor drink intoxicating have drunk but have poured out - my soul before Yahweh
1 Samuel 1:16
Not do consider - your maidservant before the face of a woman wicked for out of the abundance of my anguish and grief have I spoken until now until now
1 Samuel 1:17
And answered Eli and said go in peace and the God of Israel grant - your petition which you have asked of Him
1 Samuel 1:19
And they rose early in the morning and worshiped before Yahweh and returned and came to their house at Ramah And knew Elkanah - Hannah his wife and remembered her Yahweh
1 Samuel 1:20
So it came to pass in process of the time that conceived Hannah and bore a son and called - his name Samuel [saying] because from Yahweh I have asked for him
1 Samuel 1:21
And went up the man Elkanah and all his house to offer to Yahweh - sacrifice the yearly and his vow
1 Samuel 1:22
But Hannah not did go up for she said to her husband [Not] until is weaned the child then I will take him that he may appear - before Yahweh and remain there even to forever
1 Samuel 1:23
And said to her Elkanah her husband do what seems best to you wait until you have weaned him only let establish Yahweh - His word So stayed the woman and nursed her son she had weaned him
1 Samuel 1:25
And they slaughtered a bull and brought - the child to Eli
1 Samuel 1:27
For child this I prayed and has granted Yahweh me - my petition which I asked of Him
1 Samuel 10:1
And took Samuel - a flask of oil and poured [it] on his head and kissed him and said [is it] not because has anointed you Yahweh over His inheritance commander
1 Samuel 10:2
when you have departed today from me and you will find two men by tomb of Rachel in the territory of Benjamin in Zelzah and they will say to you have been found The donkeys which you went to look for now has ceased your father - caring about the donkeys and is worrying about you saying what shall I do about my son
1 Samuel 10:14
And said uncle of Saul to him and his servant where did you go so he said to look for - the donkeys And when we saw that [they were] not [found] and we went to Samuel
1 Samuel 10:17
And called together Samuel - the people to Yahweh at Mizpah
1 Samuel 10:18
and said to the sons of Israel - thus says Yahweh God I brought up - Israel out of Egypt and delivered you from the hand of Egypt and from the hand of all kingdoms [and] from those who oppressed you
1 Samuel 10:19
But you today have rejected - your God who He saved you from all your adversities and your tribulations and you have said to Him No a king set over us now therefore present yourselves before Yahweh by your tribes and by your clans
1 Samuel 10:21
And when he had caused to come near - the tribe of Benjamin - by their families and was chosen the family of Matri and was chosen Saul son of Kish but when they sought him and not he could be found
1 Samuel 10:25
And explained Samuel to the people - the behavior of royalty and wrote [it] in a book and laid [it] up before Yahweh And sent away - all the people every man to his house
1 Samuel 11:4
So came the messengers to Gibeah of Saul and told the news in the hearing of the people and lifted up all the people - their voices and wept
1 Samuel 11:5
And there was Saul coming behind the herd from the field and said what [troubles] the people that they weep and they told him - the words of the men of Jabesh
1 Samuel 11:6
And came the Spirit of God upon Saul - when he heard - words these and was aroused his anger greatly
1 Samuel 11:11
So it was on the next day that put Saul - the people three in companies and they came into the midst of the camp in watch the morning and killed Ammonites until the heat of the day And it came to pass that those who survived and were scattered so that no were left of them two together
1 Samuel 11:15
So went all the people to Gilgal and they made king there - Saul before Yahweh in Gilgal and they made sacrifices of peace offerings Yahweh and rejoiced and all the men of Israel even to greatly -
1 Samuel 12:3
Here I am Witness against me before Yahweh and before His anointed - The ox of whom have I taken or the donkey have I taken or whom have I cheated have I oppressed or from the hand of whom have I received [any] bribe and to blind my eyes with which and I will restore [it] to you
1 Samuel 12:6
And said Samuel to the people [it is] Yahweh who raised up - Moses and Aaron and who brought up your fathers from the land of Egypt
1 Samuel 12:8
When had gone Jacob into Egypt and cried out your fathers to Yahweh then sent Yahweh - Moses and Aaron and who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in place this
1 Samuel 12:9
And when they forgot - Yahweh their God and He sold them into the hand of Sisera commander of the army of Hazor and into the hand of the Philistines and into the hand of the king of Moab and they fought against them
1 Samuel 12:10
And they cried out to Yahweh - and said we have sinned because we have forsaken - Yahweh and served the Baals and Ashtoreths but now deliver us from the hand of our enemies and we will serve You
1 Samuel 12:11
And sent Yahweh - Jerubbaal and Bedan Jephthah Samuel and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side and you dwelt in safety
1 Samuel 12:14
If you fear - Yahweh and serve Him and obey His voice and not do rebel against the commandment of Yahweh then will continue both you and the king who reigns over you following Yahweh your God
1 Samuel 12:15
And However if not you do obey the voice of Yahweh but rebel against against the commandment of Yahweh then will be the hand of Yahweh against you and as [it was] against your fathers
1 Samuel 12:16
Therefore now stand and see - thing great this which Yahweh will do before your eyes
1 Samuel 12:18
So called Samuel to Yahweh and sent Yahweh thunder and rain day that and feared all the people greatly - and Samuel
1 Samuel 12:20
And said Samuel to the people not do fear You have done - all wickedness this yet not do turn aside from following Yahweh but serve - Yahweh with all your heart
1 Samuel 12:22
For not will forsake Yahweh - His people for sake of His name great because it has pleased Yahweh to make you His people
1 Samuel 12:24
Only fear - Yahweh and serve Him in truth with all your heart for consider - what great things He has done for you
1 Samuel 13:4
And all Israel heard it said [that] had attacked Saul - a garrison of the Philistines and [that] also had become an abomination to the Philistines And were called together the people to Saul at Gilgal
1 Samuel 13:7
And [some of] the Hebrews crossed over - the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead And as for Saul he [was] still in Gilgal and all the people trembling followed him
1 Samuel 13:13
And said Samuel to Saul You have done foolishly not You have kept - the commandment of Yahweh your God which He commanded you for now would have established Yahweh your kingdom over Israel for ever
1 Samuel 13:15
And arose Samuel and went up from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin And numbered Saul - the people present with him about six hundred men
1 Samuel 13:20
But would go down all Israel to the Philistines to sharpen each man's - plowshare and his mattock his ax and his sickle
1 Samuel 13:22
So it came about on the day of battle that neither there was found sword nor spear in the hand of any of the people who [were] with Saul and Jonathan but they were found With Saul and Jonathan his son
1 Samuel 14:12
And called the men of the garrison - to Jonathan and bearer his armorbearer and said come up to us and we will show you something - And said Jonathan to his armorbearer come up after me for has delivered them Yahweh into the hand of Israel
1 Samuel 14:23
So saved Yahweh day that - Israel and the battle shifted to in Beth Aven
1 Samuel 14:24
And the men of Israel were distressed day that for had placed under oath Saul - the people saying Cursed [is] the man who eats [any] food until evening and before I have taken vengeance on my enemies So none of tasted all manner the people food -
1 Samuel 14:26
And when had come the people into the woods and there was dripping the honey but no one put his hand to his mouth for feared the people - the oath
1 Samuel 14:27
But Jonathan not had heard charge with the oath his father - the people therefore he stretched out the end of the rod that [was] in his hand and dipped it in a honeycomb and put his hand to his mouth - and brightened his countenance
1 Samuel 14:28
And one of the people and said strictly charged with an oath Your father - the people saying Cursed [is] the man who eats food this day and were faint the people
1 Samuel 14:29
But said Jonathan has troubled My father - the land Look now how has brightened my countenance because I tasted a little of honey this
1 Samuel 14:39
For [as] lives Yahweh who saves - Israel though though it be in Jonathan my son for surely he shall die But not a man answered him among all the people
1 Samuel 14:45
But said the people to Saul shall Jonathan die who has accomplished deliverance great this in Israel Certainly not lives [As] Yahweh not shall fall one hair of his head to the ground for with God he has worked day This so rescued - Jonathan and not he did die -
1 Samuel 14:48
And he gathered an army and attacked - the Amalekites and delivered Israel from the hands of those who plundered them -
1 Samuel 15:3
Now go and attack - Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have and not do spare them but kill from man to woman from infant and to nursing child ox and sheep camel donkey -
1 Samuel 15:4
So gathered together Saul - the people and numbered them in Telaim two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah
1 Samuel 15:7
and attacked Saul - the Amalekites from Havilah all the way to Shur which is - east of Egypt
1 Samuel 15:8
And He took - Agag the king of the Amalekites alive and all the people utterly destroyed with the edge of sword
1 Samuel 15:11
I greatly regret that I have set up - Saul [as] king for he has turned back from following Me and My commandments Not has performed and it grieved Samuel and he cried out to Yahweh all night
1 Samuel 15:13
And went Samuel to Saul and said to him Saul Blessed [are] you of Yahweh! I have performed - the commandment of Yahweh
1 Samuel 15:18
and sent you Yahweh on a mission and said go and utterly destroy - the sinful the Amalekites and fight against them until are consumed they
1 Samuel 15:20
and said Saul to Samuel Yes but I have obeyed the voice of Yahweh and gone on the mission on which sent me Yahweh and brought back - Agag king of Amalek and the Amalekites I have utterly destroyed
1 Samuel 15:23
For [as] the sin of witchcraft rebellion [is] and [as] iniquity and idolatry Stubbornness [is] because you have rejected - the word of Yahweh and He has rejected you from [being] king -
1 Samuel 15:24
And said Saul to Samuel I have sinned for I have transgressed - the commandment of Yahweh and your words because I feared the people and obeyed their voice
1 Samuel 15:25
Therefore now pardon please - my sin and return with me that I may worship Yahweh
1 Samuel 15:26
But said Samuel to Saul not I will return with you for you have rejected - the word of Yahweh and has rejected you Yahweh from being king over Israel -
1 Samuel 15:32
And said Samuel bring here to me - Agag king of the Amalekites So came to him Agag cautiously And said Agag surely is past The bitterness of death -
1 Samuel 15:33
But said Samuel as has made childless women your sword so shall be childless among women Your mother and hacked in pieces Samuel - Agag before Yahweh in Gilgal -
1 Samuel 15:35
And no went more Samuel to see - Saul until the day of his death nevertheless mourned for Saul And Yahweh regretted that He had made king Saul over Israel -
1 Samuel 16:5
and he said Peaceably to sacrifice to Yahweh I have come Sanctify yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice And he consecrated - Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice
1 Samuel 16:6
So it was when they came that he looked at - Eliab and said surely before of Yahweh anointed [is] Him
1 Samuel 16:13
And took Samuel - the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers and came the Spirit of Yahweh upon David from day that and forward So arose Samuel and went to Ramah -
1 Samuel 16:19
Therefore sent Saul messengers to Jesse and said Send me - David your son who [is] with the sheep
1 Samuel 16:23
And so it was whenever was the spirit from God upon Saul that would take David - a harp and play [it] with his hand and would become refreshed Saul and well to and would depart from him spirit the distressing -
1 Samuel 17:1
And gathered together the Philistines - their armies to battle and were gathered together at Sochoh which [belongs] to Judah and they encamped between Sochoh and Azekah in Ephes Dammim
1 Samuel 17:10
And said the Philistine I defy - the armies of Israel day this give me a man that we may fight together
1 Samuel 17:11
And when heard Saul and all Israel - words of the Philistine these and they were dismayed and afraid greatly -
1 Samuel 17:15
But David went and returned occasionally from Saul to feed - sheep of his father at Bethlehem
1 Samuel 17:20
So rose early David in the morning and left - the sheep with a keeper and took [the things] and went as had commanded him Jesse and he came to the camp and as the army was going out to the fight and shouting for the battle
1 Samuel 17:22
And left David - supplies his in the hand of the keeper supply and ran to the army and came and greeted his brothers saluted
1 Samuel 17:24
And all the men of Israel when they saw - the man and fled from him and were afraid dreadfully
1 Samuel 17:25
So said the men of Israel have you seen man who has come up this surely to defy - Israel he has come up and it shall be [that] the man who kills him will enrich the king with riches great and his daughter will give him and house of his father give exemption [from taxes] in Israel
1 Samuel 17:26
And spoke David to the men who stood by him saying what shall be done for the man who kills - Philistine this and takes away the reproach from Israel for who [is] uncircumcised this that he should defy the armies of the God living
1 Samuel 17:28
And heard Eliab brother his oldest when he spoke to the men and was aroused anger of Eliab against David and he said why [is] this [that] you came down and with whom have you left few sheep those in the wilderness I know - your pride and the insolence of your heart for - to see the battle you have come down
1 Samuel 17:38
So clothed Saul - David with his armor and he put a helmet bronze on his head and he clothed him with a coat of mail
1 Samuel 17:39
And fastened David - his sword on to his armor and tried to walk for not he had tested [them] and said to Saul cannot I walk with these not I have tested [them] so took them off
1 Samuel 17:42
And when looked about the Philistine and saw - David and he disdained him for he was [only] a youth and ruddy and a fair good-looking
1 Samuel 17:43
So said the Philistine to David [am] a dog I that you come to me with sticks and cursed the Philistine - David by his gods
1 Samuel 17:44
And said the Philistine to David come to me and I will give - your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field -
1 Samuel 17:46
Day this will deliver you Yahweh into my hand and I will strike you and take - your head from you and I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines this to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth that may know all the earth that there is a God in Israel
1 Samuel 17:49
And put David - his hand in his bag and took out a stone and he slung [it] and struck the Philistine his forehead so that sank the stone into his forehead and he fell on his face to the earth
1 Samuel 17:50
So prevailed David over the Philistine with a sling and a stone and struck - the Philistine and killed him but sword [there was] no in the hand of David
1 Samuel 17:51
Therefore ran David and stood over the Philistine and took - his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him and cut off with it his head and when saw the Philistines that was dead their champion and they fled
1 Samuel 17:52
And arose the men of Israel and Judah and shouted and pursued - the Philistines as far as the entrance of the valley and to the gates of Ekron And fell the wounded of the Philistines along the road to Shaaraim and even as far as
